Roger pirates were dealing with WB youngsters quite easily. Both are a millions of times stronger than fodder Kaido and his his trash crew though lol. Roger = Whitebeard > Scopper Gaban = Oden > trash Kaido

Roger is top 1 until his death. Kaido dying to upstart pirates of less than 2 years. Fodder with his magical fruit, trash pirate :cheers:

Not sure why you're creating a headcanon about what Rogers pirate journey was like, but the fact that he has top tier haki and strength and takes quite an interest in new strong opponents pretty much tells us his nature.
