The problem is, you can be wrong but for the right reasons, because some scum tells offer false positives when they shouldn't from a purely logical perspective. And unless you feel like you were just straight up flawed with your argument over Odd, I don't see why it should just suddenly stop applying now because it happened to lead to a false positive in Odd's case (for the record, I only voted Innocent on Odd because of his claim, I felt it would be easily proveable and should have been given a Night Phase).
