He literally give up his dream for luffy.
He also threatened to leave the crew just if ussop didnt apologise to luffy
I literally said that. I literally said he was a man for himself which was evident in Water 7 but post TS he became a guard dog that was willing to give up his dream for his master

? Threatening to leave the crew if ussop doesnt apologise to luffy isnt about himself. Its about the crew giving luffys respect as captain. In jaya he took a beating from bellamy just because luffy told him to.

Zoro was never a guard dog, he was always a man for himself that respected Luffy and his position as a captain and did his best to do right by it which was evident during Water 7 when Sanji smashed Luffy in the face and Zoro didn't react at all. Post TS Zoro is me slash me a beast. No depth to it , no creativity. Just a guy that has his 3 swords and will cut shit.
Have you forgotten Zoro's moment of character development? the fight against Kuma and then Zoro asking Mihawk to train him?

That's Zoro accepting that he wants Luffy to accomplish his goal of being Pirate King more than he wants to become the WSS. He started to care for Luffy and his crew, he has their safety above his own ambitions. Mihawk even congratulates Zoro for that, because he says now that Zoro has something to fight besides himself, he can trully become strong. So no, Zoro becoming a Guard Dog isn't regression or a bad thing, it his development and what he wants to become. The right hand man of the Pirate King first, then WSS.

When Sanji smacked Luffy in the face Zoro understood why Sanji did it and approved it. When he said he will leave it is because he wasn't gonna put up with the disrespect the crew has for Luffy. Zoro was willing to walk out on moment notice if things werent correct. That is by definition being a man for himself just as he got beaten by Bellamy because he believed his ideas and goals are correct and fighting bellamy would only prove his point

Post TS Zoro literally was ready to abandon his goal for Luffy and Post TS he is basically - Zoro go slash that - good boy

Yeah.....But considering Zoro is still aiming to be the WSS, him throwing away his pride to ask Mihawk for training kinda seems pointless.
Dude got the training without sacrificing anything for it. He is gonna be the WSS just like he always were supposed to.
Unless Oda decides to kill him off in order to protect Luffy, which I dont see happening. Or else we will have "nothing happened 2.0: Electric Bogaloo". :kayneshrug:

When did Zoro smacked Luffy on the face and Zoro understood?

Zoro doesn't even know the fight happened in Whole Cake yet. Are you talking about another moment?

Pre skip.
Zoro cut the train
Ok
Your points are nonsense.
The dynamic between luffy and zoro changed early on in the story
Becoming loyal to luffy is not a regression in his character. Its the opposite.

When Luffy said Usopp should leave the crew in Water 7 Sanji smacked Luffy in the face before could finish the sentence. Zoro didn't budge at all because he understood why Sanji did it and it was necessary.

Being loyal is one thing
Being a tool to cut shit and nothing else is another

That is why Zoro in my opinion regressed a lot. He lost his soul as a character which he had. That hard shell that would tell the crew to fix their shit or he will walk out. We had a glimps of that in Punk Hazard and Zou and then it fades away like it never happened since both times his words fell on deaf ears and he did nothing about it
