I don't imagine the sword is gonna shatter your opponent's blade or be some huge powerup, at best it gives you an advantage in a close or long fight between opponents of the same level.
It will give Dayne the edge against Baristan or Jaime but it's not gonna make the Hound win against one of them for example.

Maybe but the Hound is already one of the most fearsome warriors in Westeros without any special equipment, like Jaime vs Sandor is tough even though Jaime is portrayed as better.

An Hound armed with Valyrian steel makes for a scary scenario.

Yeah but Jaime still wins
You need to be neck and neck with your opponent for the blade to make the difference imo
You give the Hound a Valyrian blade and he beats the Mountain and other people in his tier but he would still come up short against the goats like Jaime and Selmy even if he pushes them harder than when he had a normal blade.

Great list. It put a smile on my face to see Blackfish being rated, he's another underrated character while Jaime highly respects him.
I disagree with the Rogue Prince's placement.
He was using Dark Sister, a special weapon, but he isn't hyped for his combat skills like the other characters in the "Top Warriors" tier. He is an unpredictable, smart, experienced Dragonrider with a very ferocious, battle-experienced Caraxes.

I wonder where you would place Maegor the Cruel & Khal Drogo in this list though.

Maegor was really strong, maybe in the "great warriors" tier.

Good list. Some names I don’t recognize and some placements I would change:

-Loras and Brienne should maybe be higher imo…. Loras should be pretty close to Jaime as Jaime praised him heavily, and Brienne beat Loras in a melee.
-I would move Barristan up a tier. Maybe Jaime as well.
-I would move Gwayne Corbray down a tier. His dual with Daemon Blackfyre is legendary but that is also his only known feat. I don’t know if he deserves to stand up there with Dayne especially since Daemon did win the dual.

Maelys had utterly inhuman strenght, perhaps right there with Gregor. Lol

Feels weird to put Gregor a level above Oberyn, but the Mountain is a more dangerous opponent for most fighters in Westeros, TBH.

I see the argument for Gregor being moved up. He's essentially the freakiest man in Westeros, he's way bigger than just about anyone else, he isn't lacking in warrior insticts, and if he gets someone that most likely means death. He's essentially the "terror" of Westeros.

At the same time I think all the people (perhaps excluding Daemon?) in the "top warriors" tier would defeat him more often than not. You could point perhaps to a Duncan the Tall, but Duncan really is a legend. He was an expert fighter, described as both strong and quick, and bested Lyonel Baratheon (one of the best of his time) in a trial by combat.

But yeah I see the argument for Gregor, like I said.

Gregor definitely should be moved up a tier.

The Rougue Prince on the other hand I think is too high, since he doesn't have a lot of feats.

Qhorin Halfhand is top tier, since in actuality he's Arthur Dayne who faked his own death.

WELCOME ONE, WELCOME ALL, TO THE SECOND WORSTGEN ASOIAF FIGHTING TOURNAMENT, THE DUOS TOURNAMENT!!!

In this tournament, 14 teams for a total of 28 fighters will compete against each other for yet another chance at the gold!!! Since this is our second ASOIAF Tournament, this will be a Duos tournament, and this will be a double elimination tournament! This means each team will have to be defeated twice before they are out of the tournament! If your favorite team loses, they will have a chance to make a comeback in the loser’s bracket!

Same rules as last time. The teams were created by yours truly, but the brackets were random and created by a bracket randomizer app (which is an absolute piece of shit but that’s neither here nor there).
