@SakazOuki We lack prime Jaime going crazy 1v1 against somebody in the books on page. At the Whispering Woods, despite getting completely outplayed tactically by the Stark army, he rallies up his retainers, literally fights his way up a valley, cuts down three young nobles that were part of Robb's personal guard - all the time screaming for him. He almost did cut Robb down. (He mislays his sword into the neck of the third noble).

Brienne says that no knight in the seven kingdoms who "could have stood" against him at the peak of his powers. That's insane hype.

I thought you were asking about beating the cleganes in this 2v2 tournament, Jaime for sure beats them in 1v1 lol

I found an absolute beast of a warrior, Argilac Dundarron. He was the last Storm King from that house who reigned in the Stormlands before Aegon's conquest. This guy:

- Turned back a Dornish invasion when he was still a boy.
- Crossed the Narrow Sea to join a great alliance against the imperialist "tigers" of Volantis.
- Slayed the King of the Reach in the battle of Summerfield 20 years later.

Though none of that necessarily speaks to his individual prowess, he was then called a "battle seasoned warrior" and when Aegon's war happens he is an old man with grey hairs who goes to battle with Aegon, sword in hand.

Literally Meraxes eviscerates the Dundarron's vanguard, the warhorses panick and flee in terror, crashing the riders behind them and turning the charge into chaos. Argilac himself is thrown from his saddle and yet he continues to battle. Basically at one point he is holding off half a dozen man, with as many corpses at his feets.

He then proceeds to fight Orys Baratheon in single combact and each men receives a wound, before Argilac finds death at Orys' hands. (Orys was in his prime and famed for his prowess in battle btw).
