I found an absolute beast of a warrior, Argilac Dundarron. He was the last Storm King from that house who reigned in the Stormlands before Aegon's conquest. This guy:
- Turned back a Dornish invasion when he was still a boy.
- Crossed the Narrow Sea to join a great alliance against the imperialist "tigers" of Volantis.
- Slayed the King of the Reach in the battle of Summerfield 20 years later.
Though none of that necessarily speaks to his individual prowess, he was then called a "battle seasoned warrior" and when Aegon's war happens he is an old man with grey hairs who goes to battle with Aegon, sword in hand.
Literally Meraxes eviscerates the Dundarron's vanguard, the warhorses panick and flee in terror, crashing the riders behind them and turning the charge into chaos. Argilac himself is thrown from his saddle and yet he continues to battle. Basically at one point he is
holding off half a dozen man, with as many corpses at his feets.
He
then proceeds to fight Orys Baratheon in single combact and each men receives a wound, before Argilac finds death at Orys' hands. (Orys was in his prime and famed for his prowess in battle btw).
