Questions & Mysteries Ryuuma, Mihawk and why nobody wants to be WSS

#43
WSS is the f*king joke that Zoro gets obsessed. Mihawk is not the WSS but they named him that. Oda set Zoro up as someone who could be equal to Luffy when he would become a Pirate king.

how many actively are looking to be PK...
Not as many as people believe.

There is no evidence or anythng implyng that but there is well written cannon manga facts that Roger was called Pirate King by a newspaper.

We can't say nobody wants to be the WSS. There were those two Okama during Marineford who challenged him in the past....

And you know what, now that I think about it, that's pretty funny. For as long as the "how close are Zoro and Sanji debate" been around, nobody has realized this little tidbit. The only characters Oda has had come flat out say they challenged Mihawk, where Okamas.

The man really found a way to parallel Zoro and Sanji with Mihawk.

So why do people assume that you need to be interested in the WSS title in order to be considered a contender? Whitebeard didn't care about power level, yet was considered the WSM. Even Mihawk doesn't cling to his title, as he encourages Zoro to surpass him and even trains him. You are the strongest if you are recognized as such by your deeds. Zoro will be the world's strongest swordsman, not the strongest among the swordsmen who care about power level.

No one said you have to be interested on it to be a contender. But Zoro seems to be the only one actively pursuing it.
