What if Sabo saves Law from being killed by Blackbeard? Sabo is still hopping from island to island off the grid, and he happens to land on Winner Island as the battle is taking place. I trust I don’t need to remind anyone that just like Luffy, Sabo will try and fuck up BB on sight.
And add this on top of the whole Ace and Luffy thing. Blackbeard will have no choice but to back down because he can’t beat Sabo especially with Law as a factor still.
Sabo’s the Flame Emperor for a reason. The Mera Mera is peak tier destructive that can hold its own against and even rival the Gura Gura as seen by other logias even matching up just fine against similar powers like Fujitora’s devastating gravity.
But Sabo’s Haki is what will prove the most troublesome for Neckbeard! No Yami for him sadly lol
Don’t go forgetting he is at his core a melee haki based fighter, he was Dragon’s RHM long before he got the Mera Mera so he will most definitely give you the work and he prefers close quarters as his fight with Fuji demonstrated:

Sabo will give Blackbeard a glimpse of the ass whooping Luffy is going to give him if he doesn’t run his haki up or get that third fruit like the cowardly cheap he is
And yes Sabo can match Teach’s weak Quakes with just his own haki, Mera gives it the extra overwhelming flair.
Law will be taking notes and finally get his haki on Rooftop Luffy level. Kid will have to learn from Weevil then they can call themselves rivals to Luffy and reach emperor level.
