Sabo is Luffy's older brother. By usual Shonen tropes and hype he's stronger, or at least just as strong as Luffy. So if you think Luffy can fight BB or Admirals, Sabo can, too. Sabo even received the Flame Emperor title recently to cement the trope even further.

What’s a reoccurring theme with Sabo and admirals is, the latter are always massively restrained, and Sabo ends up embarrassed and/or with bandages

It would be nice if Sabo saved Luffy from becoming a donut like Ace.I would like to see that happening vs Akainu.But Luffy would still need to fight Sakazuki.
