Future Events Sabo's EoS match-up is finally confirmed : Sabo vs Holy Knight

#27

Sabo vs Akainu theorists are now in the MUD with the reveal that the Holy Knight will target Sabo as their number 1 enemy

He is fighting a top 1 or 2 Holy Knight (depends if Dragon fights one too)
Where are clownrade and Lerkan at @comrade @Erkan12
So what exactly was confirmed there bud?

:risicheck:

The Holy Knights are the clean up squad going against any type of rebellious behavior, with Sabo being their no. 1 target. Doesn't mean one of the Knights is Sabo's final opponent. Given the narrative, Sabo vs. Akainu is strongly emphasized.

Whether you like it or not, Akainu as the Fleet Admiral is a disposable guy, the outer face of the WG which is worth "slightly less than zero". The Gorosei tell Akainu to shut up while bowing down to Imu, who is the Antithesis to Joyboy, and us also having Blackbeard as a third party, who represents chaos and also being a D, probably wanting to become king of the world like Xebec and Imu being visibly butthurt about both Luffy and Blackbeard. That is a much bigger narrative than being a mindless laptop of the WG. And while Sabo's and Dragon's main target is the WG itself, they will understand that Imu is reserved to Joyboy, while they will fight the WG's top dogs to clear the path, with Sabo vs. Akainu being a great opportunity to make it even. It's like Jozu smacking Aokiji and telling Whitebeard to "go on and bother with more important stuff".

It has been a solid in canon point by now that the Revolutionaries are NOT after or meant to fight the Navy at any stage of this series bar small skirmishes such as this one or Dressrosa. The Revos are forced to clash with the Navy because the Admirals are the CD's bodyguards but they never expressed any type of animosity towards any Navy members most likely because they're aware that they only do their job.

- The Revos stated that they're only after the Celestial dragons.
- Ivankov now confirms that Sabo is the number 1 target of the newly introduced Holy nights, the personal unit of the Holy land.

Whoever at this point denies the obvious set up for Revolutionary vs Celestial Dragon fight is denying reality. There's no set up at all for any revolutionary to fight a Marine in the future while there is for the crew.

The only way is for Dragon to reveal some kind of personal history to Akainu, other than that none of em will ever face any Admiral in a serious battle.

You answered the question yourself.

> The Revos stated they are after the Celestial Dragons
> The Admirals are the Celestial Dragons biggest and foremost Bodyguards. Heck, Kizaru is escorting Saturn himself. That's why Garp refused to become an Admiral, because he would become the CDs dog. And that's why the revos ended up clashing with the admirals. Sabo clashed with admirals twice already, once in Dressrosa and once in Marijoa.

They want to abolish the WG as it is and the admirals are their greatest military asset. The Holy Knights may be in betweener fights, as they are already set in motion now, that doesn't mean they will end up as Sabo's last fight.

And the fact that they clashed twice already further solidifies that Oda doesn't intent to set up any stage for a future fight between them. They're just pit against each other per the situation.

The fight vs the Navy and the WG will happen at 2 different places, Oda is clearly separating the Navy from the WG by stacking the latter up with their own fighting force.

When the Revos said they're not after the Navy but CD only it was already kinda alarming to the Sabo v Akainu matchup but now that this beef is on for both sides makes it a done deal for me.

But what's the point of Luffy fighting Akainu? The lore with Joyboy goes way beyond the Marines. He is literally set up to fight the god of the World Government that ruled for many centuries. While at the same time we have Blackbeard as another counterpart, who will surpass Whitebeard powerwise and also has a larger narrative going for him, while Akainu is in fact just a displosable soldier of the WG.

And Luffy alrady fought a character stronger than Akainu, that Kaido is. While Blackbeard will be even trickier due to his Yami + Gura combo.

Sabo will fight Akainu.

Mera Awakening will overcome Magu Magu no Mi.

I won't say it will be easy tho. Probably ends in a massacre.

Who says Luffy can only have one fight ?
After the Imu introduction no Admiral fan seriously thinks Akainu can be the Final villain, this doesn't change that he is an EOS fight for Luffy. The set up is already done with the scar and all, we don't have to over those arguments again.

Luffy doesn't care about the Void century or the CD's, he would much rather beat up the guy that acts as the face of the world's opression and we know per Ghandi that that is the Navy and by extension Akainu as their leader.

The defeat of Navy HQ will not happen at the same time when the Holy land falls.

Another point for the Sabo vs Holy Knight thing. Iva clearly says that they're after Sabo know. Whoever those guys are they won't just send an Admiral, they want to hunt down Sabo themselves.

Because there can't be 2 EOS main antagonists, so Akainu would at most be a jobber. Unless you believe Luffy will have an extreme diff battle with Akainu and then jump right to Imu. Or is it that you believe that "EOS" encompasses several stages with weeks of time elapse? By that logic, everything that comes now is already EOS as we are towards the end of the series, given everything is set in motion.

Well, it doesn't matter what Luffy cares and cares not about, because fate gave him the role of the liberator of the world.
