Seems like shes getting defeated within this fight. Which is ridiculously early since the arc just started. But im for one glad cause I dont like her.

((She's already using Kidd's final attack better than him lol))

But yh my guy Hyo is still the goat...I hope he gets to have another fight after he gets healed up. And big up to Heisuke as well.

Underwhelming and a bit rushed imo
Would've been better to see more from Hyo and Kumanomi, and Heisuke could've interfered next chapter

I think no one is dying this time. Hyo is now nerfed and Heisuke is still levels below this type of fight.
So it'll probably come down to Hyo and Heisuke injuring Kumanomi enough for both parties to retreat

Idk about this chapter ngl. Gave it a 3 but it's a very weak 3 imo. Rushed and kinda underwhelming lol. Hyo was nice.

What was Kumanomi talking about? Was she supposed to be in the order or smth?

And are you guys weirded out too that they are talking about Kumanomi but saying they all the time lol? :milaugh:

If she was a former candidate gone rogue, somebody would've mentioned her imo.
Maybe one of her siblings/parents or a friend got into the Order.

Could be.

What I am reading from her wording is that maybe she was supposed to join. Or maybe yeah she had someone there and knows the behaviour and stuff.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the entire orphanage or at least the members of Slur's group were supposed to be the Order or the new Order or smth.

The name of the orphanage always sounded fishy to me. It sounds arabic, pointing towards international influence

I think Heisuke will get a little shine deflecting a few of her attacks and what not. But eventually he's gonna get his ass beat and be motivation for Hyo to pull through and utterly demolish her.

I think Kuma may truly be gone after this fight ( in terms of combat). Like she's gotten too much focus in the span of what....5-6 chaps. She'a giving me early arc villain vibe.

Hyou possibly could get 2 fights this arc😭
Post automatically merged:

I feel the 2 missing Order members may not get introduced this arc. Meaning 2 Order members gotta pull their weight and beat 2 opponents.

I think thats gonna be Hyo and Nagumo. With Nagumo beating one of Slur's men and then Kanaguri.

I’d give this chapter a solid 4. Not great because I don’t like Kumanomi tbh, there’s no explanation how she has magnetic powers (guess it’s her weapon), and her personality is basically non-existent (I’m an arrogant badass assassin with trust issues going against the Order isn’t much of a personality).

I still enjoyed the action, Hyo was great there, and lol at Heisuke, totally called him joining the fight. Kumanomi is the worst possible enemy for him, he has to use non-metal bullets to hurt her. I guess Hyo & Heisuke vs Kumanomi will end up in a stalemate, and the fight won‘t be finished yet.

@Chrono
Why don't you like Kumanomi?
Her personality was elaborated on in the previous chapter. Yuto is very good at elaborate the personalities of his characters in short periods of time.
She continues the trend of fellowship among Slur's Group. I have the feeling that she and Gaku will be the "Ulti & Page One that succeeded".
It's also very good that Yuto isn't sexist and doesn't do that assholery of not allowing women to seriously fight men.

One of the biggest reasons I like Sakamoto Days is its lack of fanservice. Kumanomi is probably one of the worst dressed characters within the show, thus makes me think if Suzuki is planning on cheapening his story for more viewers.

I dont hate her as a character, I just hate her appearence...thus making me want her out of the story.

Gaku was clearly overpowered, but he still looked badass in that fight. Slur and his group are actually hard to dislike (except those new 2 characters, I'm neutral to them so far).
