Dude. I already said what was Luffy's fault. The rest isn't.
That has nothing to do with Sentomaru. He said himself and we saw that he reacted on time (idk why the fuck Nika didn't saw that) but Lucci somehow by passed his defense. And Lucci was going for him and Vegapunk anyway. Nika bought him sometime to be fair.
He actually KOed him but for short time. And Stussy just got hurt a day after. So Lucci would be up anyway. Stussy also KOed him before that. If you want to blame him would be just for not arresting him after everything was solved. Or Zoro for protecting him and Kaku from Seraphim. Or Zoro/Sanji that should be able to stop him from going to Vegapunk when he attacked.
Saturn is useless. Crew is safe about him.

If we consider what Luffy could have done vs what he actually did sure. He could have killed Lucci, instantly Ko’d Kizaru with ACoC and knocked out every marine weaker than VAs with a CoC blast. He also could have defeated Saturn. But Oda won’t write that because it’ll be boring and people would really hate one piece.
The same reason it took him several chapters offscreen to low diff hyouzou or pica. Basic stalling technique by oda. We've seen on the rooftop and also before when Queen's virus was fucking up the battlefield. When zoro's around there's no playing around. We wouldn't have had several staring contests with Saturn. No playing around with kizaru. Saturn would've eaten a bird dance right into his fucking face the moment he appeard. His spidery arm would be cut off the moment he reached for Bonney. The fodder marines standing around would be flying around in a tatsumaki. Dude's just too dominant, Oda keeps him away when he wants luffy to shine in a reasonable way.

Luffy has some things going for him but in general he should concede leadership to the one true boss on the crew: Jinbei.
Luffys reckless attitude does get them in to very interesting paths which Jinbei knows. So his job (together with the cautious Zoro & Robin) is to make the best out of Luffys whims.
And then you have the under rated leaders of Brook and Franky that play down the decisions joyfully to bring down tension.
Sanji and Nami have good intuition which is good at times.
Chopper provides nothing in terms of leadership.

So when Zoro does it it's Oda stalling Zoro. Lol. Why don't we just all agree Oda is the one making dumb ass decisions to allow 'plot' to happen.
If Zoro wasn't 'playing' with Lucci he could have helped the crew protect everyone just as much.
