Character Discussion Sanji to become a Great Pirate

I doubt if in future Oda won't add Mihawk as a great pirate along with Shanks coz that man is also a big threat to WG/marines with name resounding throughout the verse and has strength to sit along with those of previous great pirates as well. Mihawk might not wanted to be an emperor but his strength and deeds are enough to make him one of them.
As for Zoro and Sanji, don't how Oda might treat Sanji in the future but Zoro is definitely someone who would be like Rayleigh in the future and regarded as legendary man/pirate. Lol

That's the point. Luffy became a Yonko, has territories, a strong crew & a fleet but is still not called a Great Pirate so why do we need to expect Mihawk to do so?
He won't be imo, simply because he is not interested in being one. Whether he can be one if he wanted to or not is another discussion.

The former can easily be given, heck even Chinjao was considered a "Legendary Pirate", but the latter is a title that is used to refer to a select few among Emperors even. Garp said the Emperors are the "Greatest Pirates" as well in Enies Lobby when he talked about the Balance of the Powers, I don't think it's a term for solo Pirates who aren't interested in being Emperors or won't be Emperors of the Sea.

But since sanji has no such dream, they grasp at straws and try to steal from other characters with fake parallels, and fake connections.

Great Pirates/Dai Kaizoku is a term used for referring to Roger, Whitebeard, Kaido, Big Mom & Shanks in the manga. Even Luffy isn't regarded as one yet. When Marco said that, he's essentially referring to his time with Whitebeard to Shanks when he says that.
Not even all Emperors are regarded as Great Pirates, but Sanji who isn't even gonna become an Emperor (with crews, territories & such) is gonna become a Great Pirate lmfao

It further provides context to Marco's words, the babysitting Great Pirates part refers to Luffy as well.

If you are talking about the Sanji content between the two of us, I have @Kurozumi Chrono beated in quality (no hard feelings my man). But if you want us to discuss about Yonko vs Admirals then that will be a different story.

As you see he says "Keep playing" so he was talking about in the past as well. Obviously not his crew....so highly likely hes talking about the New Gen he was "babysitting" in Wano.
Ofcourse Sanji is a member of the New Gen that caught Marco's eye twice.
First time was when Sanji's immense willpower didnt falter and give in to the fake lies of Kaido. And instead carried on fighting the BPs whilst the Samurai looked in at shock.
Marco then exclaimed... "This is why I like you guys"
After having caught his eye the first time....Marco then proceeded to call him one of the Stars of the Show along with Zoro.
With this evidence I can see that one of the Great Pirates Marco was reffering to was obviously Sanji. Due to the fact he complimented him twice and was impressed by him.

For us readers, he's definitely a great pirate. But either for Oda or for people in verse he's just a legendary pirate.
This is just like for stupid marines or WG, who believes Buggy is quite strong either to become schibukai or even a yonko after taming two monsters. But we readers knows he's just a joke coz he already lost to EB Luffy and Nami and even got thrown to another island miles away. Lol
