Zoro mentioned cutting fire - King uses fire
Zoro mentioned dinosaurs stepping on his sword not bending - King is a dinosaur
Zoro thirsts for swordsmen to fight - King is a swordsman
Zoro is the 2nd up after Luffy - King is the 2nd up after Kaido
The fight is essentially made to happen, can't be any more clear than that I mean..
Now as for the threat, which one is better with pros and cons. I don't really see any pros of Sanji fighting King, unless Oda wishes to make Sanji now superior to Zoro and take over as the right hand man. If that's the case, then King vs Sanji would be the way to do it. This would be a huge twist into the narrative that's created between Luffy-Zoro's partnership.
Now for Zoro vs King, it's pretty much all pros, no cons:
-> It'd be the first legit swordsman fight since Kaku
-> King is a formidable individual in the world, with his status being even higher than that of Katakuri's, thus he would be a great challenge to elevate Zoro's fame.
-> This could be a huge swordsman fight, something that series is lacking, despite all the tease clashes among the swordsmen
-> Zoro moves a step closer to:
In order for his name to known in the heavens, dudes gotta slay big time folks.
Those sayin King is true swordman? Isn't this more based on the reverse logic that he's been fighting Zoro this arc? I mean can anyone post panels where his swordmanship has been highlighted so far?
I guess there's that confirmation of King being a swordman from Data books, which deny the claim of him carrying swords like Queen.
Anyway, Fans are in for Dissappointmnt if they really expect Sanji to face Queen. I can rather see Marco doing that if he arrives in Wano, bt if not, yes Zoro is facing him.
It's based on the fact he is carrying a giant Katana. Katana being the weapon in OP that only swordsman carry.
Very similar to this man:
He was also using the sword back against the battle against Oden:
