Those sayin King is true swordman? Isn't this more based on the reverse logic that he's been fighting Zoro this arc? I mean can anyone post panels where his swordmanship has been highlighted so far?

I guess there's that confirmation of King being a swordman from Data books, which deny the claim of him carrying swords like Queen.

Anyway, Fans are in for Dissappointmnt if they really expect Sanji to face Queen. I can rather see Marco doing that if he arrives in Wano, bt if not, yes Zoro is facing him.
I've been saying for a while, I think the first half of the War is going to be The alliance holding their ground against Kaido Big Mom and Wano. But not being able to beat them, then the Whitebeard Pirates arrive, and we see either some team fights. ei Sanji and Marco flying around maybe fighting King on a Sky Island. Zoro and Vista fighting 10000 Samurai Ect. Or The Strawhat alliance fights all out does 90% of the work and the Whitebeard Pirates finish the job and let Luffy rest for a moment, then deliver the final blow.

Zoro mentioned cutting fire - King uses fire
Zoro mentioned dinosaurs stepping on his sword not bending - King is a dinosaur
Zoro thirsts for swordsmen to fight - King is a swordsman
Zoro is the 2nd up after Luffy - King is the 2nd up after Kaido

The fight is essentially made to happen, can't be any more clear than that I mean..

Now as for the threat, which one is better with pros and cons. I don't really see any pros of Sanji fighting King, unless Oda wishes to make Sanji now superior to Zoro and take over as the right hand man. If that's the case, then King vs Sanji would be the way to do it. This would be a huge twist into the narrative that's created between Luffy-Zoro's partnership.

Now for Zoro vs King, it's pretty much all pros, no cons:

-> It'd be the first legit swordsman fight since Kaku
-> King is a formidable individual in the world, with his status being even higher than that of Katakuri's, thus he would be a great challenge to elevate Zoro's fame.
-> This could be a huge swordsman fight, something that series is lacking, despite all the tease clashes among the swordsmen
-> Zoro moves a step closer to:
In order for his name to known in the heavens, dudes gotta slay big time folks.

It's based on the fact he is carrying a giant Katana. Katana being the weapon in OP that only swordsman carry.

Very similar to this man:

He was also using the sword back against the battle against Oden:

My problems with King vs Zolo
1) If he's a swordsman why didn't he bring his main weapon against a yonko crew?
Either he's more retarted than Luffy or he ain't swordsman.
2) Flight
This is so big. If King vs Zolo rly will happen then that means Oda is gonna ground King in order to fight Zolo.
We have seen how Zolo struggles to even keep up with a giant statue, how he's supposed to fight a small target that can maneuver in air?

(tho after reading this weeks chapter, I can see Oda nerfing King with no flight with that kind of writting ...)

My problem with Queen vs Sanji
1) There would be no tension
If Sanji would start losing he could just fly up and rest.
If he were to fight King, King wouldn't allow that and would chase him.

So you are saying that if he loses against queen so he will run away but with king he doesn't have that option so he could win ? Fuck the logic xD!

I will tell you one thing, with what sanji showed, he is not even jack lvl so imagine him taking a katakuri lvl guy lol!

But we know you sanji fans, you will be ready to talk shit about king after the war :)

It's very unlikely that Sanji will get to fight the second strongest on his own, we don’t even know if he can take on the third strongest. The only scenario in which I could see him fight King is if he teams up with Zoro.
You would probably said the same thing if we were in 2005 and discussing whether Sanji will defeat Jabra or not after what happened versus Blueno. Now, I'm not saying that Sanji will fight King because I doubt it, but that's not my point.

This is the typical thing that just makes no sense to be considered in the first place. It is like discussing why Kizaru didn't blow Luffy's head with a lasser if he's precise enough to break a little key. Things like that simply won't happen, just like Sanji won't stop fighting to take a rest in the highs.
