There is a clear gap between 1st and 2nd place from 3rd and 4th place.

Sanji isn't even close to Zoro while Zoro is very close to Luffy.
And this is because a lot of Zoro haters voted for Luffy otherwise Luffy wouldn't have won either.

Offering more loading of trash is worse than offering less quality.

Of course, quality matters too. Too much of anything makes things bland and uninteresting.

Zoro is one of the most effectively written simple character you'd find in any shounen anime.

I have to agree—although I am not sure if he's the best in the category. Unbeknownst to the top-tier readers who look for literature in children's manga, most people actually prefer to read simpler things.

There are more Zoro haters on our forum than Zoro fans/supporters because multiple fandoms dislike Zoro. But I don't think they're wrong on this one. I'd actually vote for Sanji if someone asks me to vote for a better character. Sanji offers more as a character than Luffy/Zoro although he's not half as strong as them.
