Fair enough, but I´m not sure Kaido would ally with Hanafuda if he viewed him as a random jobber, let alone raise his kids. He looks down on weak people and losers, so I imagine at some point in time there was a lot of respect between the two. I compare this to Garp and Roger, because I also view that as the two hated eachother in their younger days, but they grew to respect eachother after God valley. from the Buggy/Shanks era of the Roger pirates, they only really fought Wb.

I think Doffy being his ally was just his original plan, but Oda changed it to Doffy is just his biggest business partner, also, I can´t imagine him raising Doffys kids for example. And yeah, it was likely not an alliance of equality, but still an alliance of respect

Yes I agree. Hanafuda saw something in Kaido, in impressive might its literally stated in the SBS and then dedicated his life to helping him become PK and Kaido respects people who know the pecking order and respect him. He respected Jack for gods sake.

It does matter because Ace defeated Hanafuda before he joined WB pirates and we know old Whitebeard was literally one shotting Ace . Talk about difference in power between WHitebeard and Kaido.

It just proves old Whitebeard superiority to Kaido and Big Mom . Its no coincidence that Yamato managed to stall Kaido and Yamato fought Ace to standstill again same Ace Whitebeard was one shotting .

Jinbei who could clash with Big Mom had 5 day battle with Ace, again same Ace whom Whitebeard was one shotting.

Yes I see him overall inferior stats by stats because he lacks future sight, awakening and more feats , that does not mean he does not put up a fight.
