Why wouldn't you want to claim it? The existence of such a passive proves that there is a Cult, which is important information. You should have been claiming it Day 1.

At that point, you'd have no way of knowing that the Cult can recruit during the Day. So by claiming your passive you can influence how we would use our roles.
