Finalbeta..

You underestimate yourself.

I think you're one of the strongest players in the forum, you just have a different way from all the others.
Though, I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of improvements you have in mind!
Well I act too recklessly sometimes. I don't properly calculate what an action can generate. When I use my abilities for instance. I should strategize more and be driven less by instinct. This is a game in which strategy is mandatory.

I'm happy with my thought process when it comes to reading players but even if I find some posts sus I still need to increase my meta knowledge over several players in order to come up with better voting patterns or actions.

The fact I have a different way leads me to consider scum players that happened to be town.

Okay, one last word.

Scum, I think you tried your best. There were a few hiccups, but good game overall! I hope you guys had fun with our roles! Also, you guys might have had some bad moves, but town played great as well. Literally every townie from Fuji to someone as scummy as Zara contributed well. So don't beat yourself too much.

Overall, I had a lot of fun this game and surely every player contributed to that.

One last thing I want to comment on, was the distribution of credit. It kinda got annoying seeing players argue over something that is, imo, quite petty and really not worth much. Read accuracy really doesn't mean much if you aren't willing to work together with other players and eliminate yourself from the lynch pool as a townie. Having wrong reads isn't always bad as long as you are willing to admit to it.

Anyway, I'm done with my stupid pep talk which you can ignore. Thanks for the game one last time @Dragomir @Kiwipom @Cray Cray

The Honoured One
In relation to what happened over the duration of this game, I have decided that I will at long last make a substantial effort to shapen up the quality of my playstyle for the next games as well as the time being. In this circumstance I once again acted without properly resolving the scenario despite computing it well.

I was confident I would have likely shot myself but still pressed the button.

I was hell-focused on my real life university exams but that cannot justify my poor performance.

In many of the games I played in this community I definitely played too lowly compared to what my full capabilities can stand out to: too reckless and too lazy in particular, specifically. I will make sure that my playstyle becomes at least decent enough putting an effort into being much less detrimental to other players abilities wise, being more active and contributive in game solving and not just prominently revolving to sus the players who sus me back either I might or not have good motifs for it, since that's just the easiest road: to wait for the fish instead of fishing; also reasoning up much more broadly more in general, expecially as Town.

One last thing:

I kept on reading the thread post death. It was very painful because of the staggering amount of spam. So many pages of... nothing... literally hundreds of them.

I'm not a champion at this game but I think Mafia Games should not be about spam, that's very intuitive. There's kinda, you know, the General Chat for socialization, non related fun etc. honesty... at least for the most part reading through was a real nightmare for me personally. You can't really skip portions of the thread if you wanna get reads... and it was headache inducing. I'm fairly confident some players experienced the same here and this is probably not just my selfish complain. Not saying it should be all serious all the time, but this is so much.

I noticed Fujishiro iper active in particular. If he keeps up with that pace he might even surpass my post count I mean. It's as crazy as it sounds.

But it's not really just about him at all... I don't want to pinpoint. I think the games would be empowered quality wise if rules became more strict on that aspect and the trend disappeared or more likely at least came loose.

The Lord has spoken.

:steef:

You did well Beta, don't worry. It's all good.

There was no real reason to kill Flower at that point, though. You wanted Flower gone because she sussed you and that's it. I already explained how if I had been lynched my flip incriminated you. With the way I got hounded the day of my lynch, if I had been the prior day's lynch, you would have gone that same night, and Juliet would have just been lynched a day later. I think it was checkmate at that point when TAC literally scanned ten people at once.
The game becomes much easier when I can lie detect, invest and then check a wagon all in one night phase lmfao. The Nat role was broken as fuck
