This might be a tinfoil but I think it might hold some merit, hear me out for a second;
He was caught in a lie surrounding Light, and was also not RBd when he "investigated" T-pein.
It might be circumstancial, but I think that perhaps Brother Ripped knew T-pein was Orange Peel and also knew that he wasn't Flower's killer, but chose to call T-pein out on it. He did succeed in his mission to take out Orange Peel.
Now why I also am starting to believe this to be the case is that Ripped has lately been voicing his opinion that I am a "wolf in sheeps clothing", which is fine and all, but will not really elaborate further.
What I find funny about this is that after Worst died and flipped he asked me "tell me why you have tanked 4 superkills".
This leads me to believe that there is a chance that Ripped wants to lynch me as a "hail mary" because he's in cahoots with Worst and the jobbers, as they couldn't kill me, and so he wants to try to turn the eyes on me.
However of course he cannot claim I've been shot 4 times without revealing that he is part of the mafia team.
This being said however I do not intend to vote for him here, but I am merely presenting my theory.
And we will proceed to lynch Ekko here, and I will not see any derailing happen on my watch
