Kvothe saw Xlaw and Zem visit Nick, who turned up dead. Killed by Purple Mafia.
Xlaw claimed Jimmy neutron and that he might have gotten redirected or something, Borto redirected him to worst but Xlaw still visited Nick. Meaning he's immune and lying about being vulnerable to redirects.
Xlaw claimed that he can rig the ITA superkill contest and so he did, he won the superkill and attempted to superkill Nana who survived the kill.

She then came out and claimed to have gotten a protect thanks a relic that allows her to absorb the first positive action she gets.
