Speculations Sengoku and Tsuru are doing a prisoner trade with Teach

#1
In the recent chapter we saw Sengoku and Tsuru going somewhere. Chances are, they are going to Hachinosu to save Garp.

But will they really go to war with the BBP? Unlike Garp, I don’t think Sengoku is that stupid. Rather, I think he’s going to do a prisoner swap with Teach.

Who do I think they’ll give over to Teach? Idk, it could be a new character. Someone captured over the timeskip, like perhaps Wang Zhi or some WB commanders.

Perhaps Weevil.

Or perhaps he will hand over King, Queen, and Jack. Although idk if we’re really going to see those guys come back so soon.

An odd possibility would be them capturing Law and sending him back to Teach, but idk if Sengoku would really do that to Law after Cora died for him.

Maybe Captain Kidd? I could see Shanks fishing him and Killer out after the giants sunk their ship and handing them over to the villagers so they could collect his bounty. That could be why Demalo Black is dressed like Kidd, he heard he got captured and pretended to be him so he could get jail clout or something. I feel like this would be a good possibility given Kidd’s tendency to get captured. Also Oda always has him ally with Luffy, so him becoming Teach’s slave would set up Kid, Law, and Luffy to ally together again to bring down Teach.

Anyways that’s my thoughts. I think in terms of likelihood, I would rank the possible prisoners like this:
  1. Kidd and Killer
  2. Wang Zhi
  3. New character
  4. Weevil
  5. Law
  6. Beast pirates

But BB wanted to use Coby to get recognized as a king. I doubt now that he has a better barganing chip with Garp, he will lower the demand at a mere prisoner.

Garp isn't going to trade for a prisoner especially one that's not apart of his crew he has the leverage by having Garp why would he give that up by trading for bargin bin whitebeard

Why would he trade Garp for any of those, he clearly wants to leech off the WG/Marines like he did when he was a warlord
idk if Oda will follow through on making Teach a king in the WG. I think Imu and the Gorosei might be smart enough to not trust Teach. Like Van Augur even told Saturn to his face that they are trying to obtain the world. They'd honestly be idiots to get fooled by Teach the second time.

Kid or Weevil would honestly be fair trades for Garp. Because apart from trading Garp into Cross Guild, there's not much Teach can actually do with him.

However Kid does have a DF that Teach could steal. Weevil could also have a power that could be stolen. Also since they are pirates, Teach could try to convince them to join his side, much like kaido did.

Also, say Sengoku shows up with a pretty strong crew. We know he has Tsuru, perhaps he could also have Smoker, Drake, and others on board. I think Teach might just choose to accept their offer, rather than go to war.

Nah, doesn't make sense.

BB's goal is to make hachinosu a country affiliated to the WG. His best option to do so is having Garp. Having Kidd doesn't benefit him.

And I don't think BB needs more devil fruits given all his crewmates have a fruit now.

Honestly the WG would be idiots to make Teach a king

I think Teach's plan is to give up Devon disguised as Garp

I don't think that the WG would make Hachinosu an affliliated country just to get Garp back. In the end, I think that the BB Pirates will claim Garp's bounty from Cross Guild... and that could possibly lead to a conflict. Is the CG able to pay for Garp while Buggy admitted that he was penniless; I think that'll be up for Crocodile, but he may be on low funds too, considering that he went as far as saving Buggy from the marines to collect his debt.

The prisoner exchange also doesn't make sense, none of the current WG (Impel Down) prisoners, confirmed or speculated, have the same value of Garp (Kid and Law have the same bounty, but it's very unlikely that they're in Marine's/WG's custody right now).

Why would Sengoku have the authority for a prisoner exchange...? Akainu would be completely opposed to it and he's the one in charge, even higher up, the Gorosei have wanted to get rid of Garp for decades so they wouldn't authorize it either.

I think this would also make a lot of sense

Then the marines would need to fight Cross Guild to save Garp. Alvida is part of cross guild and Koby promised he would capture her, so it could be set up for that.
