Powers & Abilities Shanks and old Rayleigh's Conqueror's haki potency is about equal.

Shanks and Ray are in the 100k tier, old Ray top 2 with his overwhelming CoC abilities confirmed? :quest:
For the illiterate that post without reading. These are the key points of what Oda said.

Q: So Luffy's supreme King haki can knock out fifty thousand. How many can Shanks knock out with his?
Oda: if they were in the same exact situation as Luffy's, Shanks and Rayleigh could probably manage up to a hundred thousand.
Also Oda
Oda: you really can't compare "how many" in different situations. If Luffy were facing a hundred thousand pirates of a certain strength, he might not be able to knock out a single one with haki.
@Red Admiral @Seraphoenix thoughts?

Prime Rayleigh > Big Mom
A bucket full of shit > Big Meme, but what about Rayleigh and Shanks, their haki is equal so they should have the same AP, a fight between them would be decided by skill and physical stats.

Oden fags can cry as much as they want. Oda himself cherry picked Rayleigh and wanked his CoC putting him at the same pedestal as the CoC god, how is the retard that shakes his ass on the streets coming close to that ?
What about Oden?

Why does it seem like everyone on this site has dogshit reading comprehension?

Both being able to knock out 100,000 is because there were only 100,000 people there, Oda was responding to Luffy vs the Fishmen, of which there were 100,000 of them, aka they can both knock out all of them, that doesn't make them equal.

By this braindead logic, Luffy and Shanks vs 10 people, they both knock out all 10, they're equal? Completely retarded.

The question only asks about Shanks

Oda decides to also add in the information that Rayleigh can do the same

This is an explicit comparison between the two of them that went beyond the scope of the original question

"If they were in the exact same situation as Luffy"

It's putting Shanks and Rayleigh in Luffy's situation where they could both knock out all 100,000, that doesn't make them equal, it just means they can both knock out at least 100,000 whereas Luffy can only do 50,000, it's really not that complicated.

Yes, but the guy doesn’t actually ask about Rayleigh. It’s Oda himself to decides to bring about the comparison between Shanks and Rayleigh by expanding the question.

The guy asks how many Shanks could take out.

Oda could just answer all of them, but that isn’t enough, he also decides to add in that Rayleigh can do it as well.

That just makes it natural to compare Shanks and Ray’s haki, necause the author himself did it without being prompted.

Which is irrelevant to what the OP is arguing

If you want to say they're equal because Oda used them both in an example, fine, go ahead, about as weak as it can get.

The OP's using them both being able to knock out 100,000 to mean they're equal, which is wrong, they both could only knock out 100,000 in Luffy's situation because there were only 100,000 there.
