Current Events Shanks' birthday

Its really not about there being a guarantee of anything Shanks or Mihawk next chapter (they share a birthday), but the fact that last chapter had a cliffhanger if Shanks/Kid, and this just so happens to fall after a break week lol. So if anything happens, itd make sense at least.
Whats interesting is Oda didnt even have to do the Kid/Shanks scene this week, but he did and it seems like it wasnt coincidence at least. Otherwise, he probably would have drew this scene weeks ago around the same time Blackbeard and Law started fighting.

When it happens, I will be able to say I never stopped believing.
If Pluton hadn't been revealed at the end of Act 3, I would be pretty hopeless right now.
I think Shanks will end up coming to Wano, as well, and that Oda already teased that happening. Shanks would definitely want to visit Oden's home country.

the fact that they didnt actually knock the walls down or get Pluton is a big clue yeah lol. and it seems pretty clear to me that Pluton is near or in that lava cavern. so kaido and big mom went down in a way Oda even admitted was disappointing, with Big Mom even saying "im not dead bitch ill be back", and never got confirmed to die. and they're right next to Pluton? And they both already SAID they wanted the ancient weapons?
it seems obvious there will be a return to wano, and very likely that the fallen yonko are still alive and about to have an ancient weapon in their hands

Ironically he had his chance but chose to promote his "daughter's" movie, bully an Admiral with his crew and then supposedly go to bully one of Luffys allies/fleet commanders but we have no idea what happened there either, Oda has just "forgotten" the Grand Fleet in general and this storyline with Barto apparnetly too.
I'd love to see Shanks at Wano but at this point, it wouldn't be satisfying for me if he showed up here now, same with Mihawk imo.

I admire you tenacity/resilience to your ideas and theories though btw @CoC: Color of Clowns. Genuinely I mean. I wish I had that kind of faith in things, especially when the odds are so unfair lol. I've not had that courage myself.

For sure, it will cut off from all the interesting stuff and show us Vegapunks
100 percent, we’re talking about an author who has spent two and a half decades mostly setting stuff up at the end of a chapter just to cut away to anything else at the start of the next. He’s gone sequentially plenty of times as well, usually in the middle of an arc when it makes sense…I just feel like we’ve had a lot of the former in what’s demonstrably a table-setting arc for the end of the series, so we won’t see the conclusion or really anything else between Shanks and Kid until later
People just hated Wano so much they don't want to go back to it, but, it is what it is. Oda clearly left the arc unfinished, and, considering how much Oda loves Wano and Zoro, I don't see how we aren't going back. Offscreening Pluton would be the dumbest thing this Manga ever did, two main arcs, Alabast and Water 7/Enies Lobby were centered around Pluton. The Straw Hats need to be there for it, or what the fuck was the point? Imagine getting robbed of Robin and Franky's reactions to Pluton being activated?

Uh, just keep an open mind. The story is going to be really fun from here on out.
Thanks, I love theories so much. To me, if they haven't been proven wrong fully, I'll keep holding on (I respect @Pot Goblin for this a lot, as well, especially since Pot is way saner than I am).
I'd honestly probably be dead if it wasn't for Enies Lobby. I still have a lot of destructive behavior, but, Oda made me realize that, even if I couldn't find a place for myself in the world, it's better to be like Luffy and make kind people like Robin, who got fucked over for no reason or fault of their own, happy.
So, as dumb as it sounds, I have faith in Oda.
I've never seen an author who loves his series more than Oda, I just can't believe he'd leave Big Mom, Kaido with such shit deaths when Whitebeard's death was so meaningful, that he'd offscreen Pluton, that'd he'd teased Zoro's origins then never give us them.
Oda is obsessed with One Piece more than anyone. Even if the pre-time-skip had rough part in the beginning and along the way (I know a lot of people hate Skypiea and Thriller Bark), almost everyone agrees the ending was amazing with Sabaody going into Impel Down and Marineford.
I'll wait until Oda fails me to give up hope. I'll forgive Act 3 ending like shit, if we get Zoro's backstory, Pluton, and some Beast Pirate Awakenings in Act 4/5. And, then, hopefully ZKK.

For example, he offscreened BM vs Kaido's 2 day fight, specificalltly because he wanted to "preserve" the surprise of how Kaido and BM fought on the rooftop. Same concelt with Akainu vs Aokiji, Revo's vs Fuji/Ryo (to not reveal Ryo when he didnt want to), etc.
Now the issue is Blackbeard and Shanks are just still clearly not ready to be shown off yet (ironically after 1100 chapters...), but obviously the intent is to wait until Luffy encounters them. Who knows though, maybe he'll surprise (doubt lol)
