What is with this stupid claims that snitch Shanks is Roger 2.0 , its laughable from overall status to strength level.
Roger is most important character beside Luffy , his deeds are reason one piece exists as manga. He did what no one in last 800 years did he conquered grand line and become pirate king. No character got portrayal and fame Roger has.
Roger is the one who started a new era , great era of piracy . His words ignited the flames inside poeple hearts, flames that still burn today. Ace novel explained that before Roger world gov. main problems were not pirates at all . All of that started because of Roger.
What did snitch Shanks do comparable to this ???

Roger is special individual he has voice of all things , mysterious ability shared with Luffy main character . If Shanks is so special and another version of Roger why he doesnt have voice of all things ????
Also about power level. There isn´t any statement of portrayal that puts any shade on Roger power. He was never called inferior to anyone unlike snitch Shanks .He was equal to Whitebeard , character that is called world strongest man and world strongest pirate , character that was said to be capable of destroying the world. Kaido praised Rogers haki and how with it he conquered the world. As said by Crocodile there are thousands of pirates out there crying their tears because they were unable to defeat Roger and WHitebeard.

Shanks on the other hand got scarred by weakest version of Blackbeard one without single devil fruit. His sword skill was directly stated to be inferior to Mihawk and Mihawk is one called world strongest swordsman not Shanks. He lost his arm against sea monster volume 1 Luffy one shot.
Only thing Shanks have comparable to Roger is their fighting style which is not surprising at all. None of them have devil fruit so its clear their power would be Haki , like with pretty much any other character who does not have devil fruit. Shanks being swordsman and using same move as Roger is their only real similarity which again is perfectly understandable because he was on his ship and got trained by his right hand Rayleigh.
Its pretty clear Shanks has nothing to do with Roger , he doest even share same hair color unlike Luffy lol . Shanks aint the one who will repeat Roger feat of becoming pirate king , all of this is reserved for Luffy .
