Ok smart boy, Mihawk also has one more title "Shichibukai". It means he is "Shichibukai" level. In other words a Yonkou Commander level. Whether YC3 or YC1 is debatable.

What the fuck even is a "shichibukai level"? Anyone with a half a working braincell at this point would have realised long ago that all Shichibukai are nowhere near the same level, the only thing they have in common is that they where notorious pirates that where invited by the WG just soo they could operate normaly withoud having to deal with the WG constantly being a pain in their asses, and still they where strong enough to be considered one of the worlds 3 big powers, meaning the WG actualy REALY NEEDED the shichibukai to combat the yonkos.

if you think that the WG only look at individual strenght when giving captains this kind of position, or if Yonkos are feared by the world because of their individual prowess alone, Kaido, Big mom, Shanks and Even BB build their crews strenghts even though they are already strong, they know the WG would just stomp their asses if they where to face it alone, thats why their bounties are soo high. But Mihawk is strong enough to the point where his strenght is considered a real deal by everyone, including the WG, to the point where he can just join one of the world's 3 greatest fucking powers, just soo he can be left alone drinking his tea in his castle. AND HE HAS NO FUCKING CREW. Soo yes, only a retard would say Mihawk is not at the very least as strong as the Yonkos on a 1v1 fight, if not stronger.

Imo up until Roger's execution, Shanks was still a rookie under another's flag. So imo thats when he suffered losses. And during his struggle to become a Yonkou, he may have lost to Kaidou, Mihawk or others individually

Titles are the most misunderstood thing in One Piece.

We have a POSITION title, and we have a POWER title. The position title would be like Admirals, marines, bartender, chef, Pirate King and so much more. While a Power title would be like the World's Strongest Swordsman, World's Strongest Creature, World's Strongest Man, World's Strongest Criminal or World's Strongest Weapon. If someone is given the title of an admiral, it would mean their position are really high in the WG, and if it were a Shichibukai, it just means they are pirates who work with/for the WG, which doesn't necessarily equate to being powerful to a certain extent, or not. In other words, titles are taken very seriously in One Piece. Only thing some people do is conflate between a Position title and a Power title by making them the same thing. An Admiral level, may just be a form of general expression for someone who is really strong but not necessarily that every admirals is the same, or that they are more powerful than a warlord/Yonko/gorosei. Likewise, the warlord's powers may differ from one another. So for us to say, Mihawk is just a "warlord" level would be like if we were to say Mihawk is just as equally powerful as the other warlords, which we know, is not true, based on countless of evidences from manga/SBS/vivre card.

Mihawk is strong, no doubt, but I will wait for his portrayal in a battle. Hope he lives up to the hype, and not become another Whitebeard.
