I think your vote settings are incorrect as I can only select one option instead of multiple.

Anyways

1) Mihawk is stronger than Shanks. WSS is superior to every swordsman. As simple as that. And it’s not even extreme diff. Being Shanks lvl isn’t enough to push Mihawk to his limits otherwise he’d fight Shanks. Mihawk high-extreme diffs Shanks. Stopped being a debate after the Loki flashback.

2) Shanks and it’s not even close unless you’re biased. Man is connected to every character in the verse and yet his ambitions are so enigmatic and we’ve only started to scratch the surface with all the new lore about him. Mihawk has some lore to the marines and that’s about it. He’s a plot device meant to lose to Zoro and that’s it. Unless you’re a Zoro fan then maybe you’d only be interested in Zoro related lore (which is okay! this story is ass rn so it’s understandable!) but otherwise, Shanks no diffs in terms of how interesting he is.

3) Shanks. Probably my fave character in the series apart from Kuzan although I do dislike how Oda has handled certain aspects of his character but I think he’s connecting the loose ends and for once, I trust him to write someone well. Only because Shanks is his golden boy. I hate Mihawk as a character though he’s cool. His fans haven’t helped to improve my image on him either, they’ve just made it worse. I understand if you dislike Shanks as a character though if you hate Gary Stus, it’s just I don’t. Don’t know how you can think Mihawk is even a remotely compelling character though when Oda has fucked up with him so hard. Well, he does have crazy aura so yeah whatever I guess.

R1: In the manga, Mihawk should be stronger but I'm sure Oda hasn't make up his mind about who is stronger. If they were to fight, I'm sure we would see something like Roger vs WB.

R2: Shanks is more interesting rn because we know a little about him and Oda is still keeping some stuff secret about him.
We basically know nothing of Mihawk aside that he is the WSS. And the route Oda chose for him isn't that interesting to me.

R3: I don't really care about either of them tbh. Maybe I like Mihawk more because I'm curious about his powerlevel (most interesting thing about him) and he's related to Zoro's dream.

Shanks sweep.

R1 - At best they're perfect equals. If one is definitively stronger, it's Shanks.

R2 - I find very little interesting about Mihawk after damn near 1200 chapters of mostly nothing. Shanks is effectively a protagonist of previous story kept shrouded in mystery.

R3 - Shanks is way more interesting and likeable. It's not really a fair comparison. Mihawk barely gets panel time.

R1 : Mihawk, people still having doubts are really having some entirely different copium.

R2 : who's more interesting is based on what kind of character you prefer, it will be based on R3 only. To me it's Mihawk, 1200 chapters and bro is still shrouded in mystery and powers yet to revealed. He is a stoic character, suffering from success type of character lol.

R3 : obvious enough Mihawk.

Mihawk is stronger.

As of now Shanks is more interesting, but that could change depending on what is revealed about Mihawk.

Both are in my top 3 favourite characters, I go back and forth, but currently I'd say they are tied for how much I like them. @DarkWitch add a tie option for round 3.

Both are GOATS

Let's do something :

Let's all close our eyes. Let's try to picture Shanks and Mihawk facing each other. They're fighting. What are they doing ?
- Are they throwing punches at each other ? Not their style.
- Are they using their feet like Sanji ? Not their style.
- Are they using their devil fruit ? They don't have any, as far as we know.

The correct answer is : they're using their sword infused with haki.

And there are some people who genuinely believe that THE WORLD'S STRONGEST SWORDSMAN is losing that fight.

That's beyond me.

Really.

If Shanks is stronger than Mihawk, then his title means nothing and Oda is a garbage-tier writer (which might be true considering the recent chapters).
