Pizzaro is not that guy and it is bloody obvious from the way Oda’s portrayed him so far. Imo he’s gonna be a mid-trio level opponent. Can see what Jo’s going for here & it is indeed reminiscent of King/Queen/Jack but that is only a bonus argument for Sanji v Laffite.
If you wanna know Sanji’s opponent, look at their portrayal. Laffite has the best portrayal amongst the original 5 and is the Staff Officer of the BB Pirates.

I don’t really care about who Sanji is fighting, I was just merely pointing out that calling people « Troll » because they disagree on a potential future match-up is kinda unfair.

A bit unrelated to this, but I just saw today's episode and holy shit Shiryu's fruit is absolute ass man.

Garp was able sense him without any notable use of AdCoO. Also at first Shiryu's sword was invisible but the moment he coated it in haki it became visible. That is genuinely the one of the shitiest ability I've seen in the series.

Oda will have to make a gigantic asspull power up for Shiryu to remotely stand a chance against Zoro. Zoro doesn't need any advanced forms of CoO for this fodder, he can just sense the Janitor's sword

Don’t think Jo is referring to the Sanji fans that actually want the matchup but rather folks that opt for that matchup coz they think Pizzaro is ass or not that impressive but fair enuff. I’m aware some Sanji fans genuinely want matchups like Pizzaro & Vasco which is fair ^^ but I don’t think Sanji’s potential opponent is as elusive as the fandom is making it out to be.

Laffitte is not stronger than the guy with the strength DF or someone that commands the power and weight of an island, he has been a fodder since day one and he already had a DF.
Laffitte has no combat feats and this isn't because he's too good and Oda is saving him for a special occasion a la ifrit jambe cope, we know he's dogshit one tap material for Ace, Magellan, etc, he's only sneaking around because that's the only thing he's good for.
Finally bounty wise he's currently matching up with Brook or Nami.

Pizzaro's portrayal where he gets scolded definitely reminds me of previous "distant 4th" ranked in the crew.
Mr.3 scolded for his failure by Crocodile
Blueno by Lucci or Kaku for getting weaker running a bar
Jack being mocked as the Drag Down by King and Queen
Now Pizzaro scolded for failing by Blackbeard

So I believe he is a distant 4th strongest much like Blueno and is more comparable to the Mid trio than the Wings. And seeing him take punches from people connected to Luffy, I wouldn't be surprised if Luffy is the one to fight him before he fights Blackbeard.
He could even be used to display the difference between Galaxy Impact and Luffys punch, showing Luffy surpassed Old Garp.

Edit: Also, I'm excluding Kuzan being a BB crew member for obvious reasons.
So, most likely it's BB, Shiryu, Lafitte as top 3.

I don't think Pizarro is going to be a Mid Trio victim simply for the fact he had the second most specialized portrayal of the Impel Down recruits.

It's like Khalifa seriously threatening to kill Jyabura, it becomes a gag cause of how ridiculous it is. Same thing with Lafitte plotting with BB to take Kuzans fruit. His portrayal to me suggests he's among the top of BBs crew, otherwise he's a gag character that bluffs as much as Usopp.

As for Pizarro, If Luffy fights him as his usual warm up before the big fight he could be the Mr.3/Blueno/Cracker of BB's crew.

If he fights another strawhat, Franky or Jimbe both have destructive feat's and power and a unique situation to go all out.
Since he's an entire island, Jimbe can fight underwater and Franky can fight with the Sunny. They can actually use their entire arsenal against Pizarro making a much more interesting fight.

Pretty sure Kalifa would scold Jabra for sexual harassment, and Nami physically abuses her fellow crew mates on a daily basis (including Luffy and Zoro). Considering Pizarro was unphased by Lafitte's threat, I think it's safe to say it's a gag and kind of their version of the "scary Nami" meme.

Same thing with Lafitte plotting with BB to take Kuzans fruit. His portrayal to me suggests he's among the top of BBs crew, otherwise he's a gag character that bluffs as much as Usopp.

None of this suggest anything other than Lafitte is an opportunist and schemer.

The Blackbeard Pirates have NINE Titanic Captains (that's barring Kuzan) for Luffy's NINE crew mates. There's not going to be a Mr. 3 or Blueno figure because Oda's setting them up to be evil counterparts to the Straw Hats.

No one is sharing opponents for the above reasons. Burgess and Wolf are clearly for Jimbei and Franky.
