It wasn't the fact Luffy overpowered Kaido but because Kaido ran out of haki he was defeated.



Next it'll be because Zoro hit him with Asura he was hurt last minute which allowed Luffy to win.



Luffy was literally held onto and Kaido was allowed a free full blown hit Kaido got as much support as Luffy did.

Rooftop fight Luffy was fighting both Kaido and Big Mom. Once everyone went downstairs and Gear 5 came out it was 1 v 1 and Luffy won get over it.

He didn't overpower anything.
The last panel prior shows kaidos flame clouds go out meaning he hit 0 and only then does luffy overpower him.
None of that negates all the coc kaido used on everyone but luffy or his stamina being drained by carrying an island or all the damage done by everyone else

The panel clearly shows Luffy's fist splitting the mouth of the magma dragon wide open before hitting Kaido head on. The shape of the mouth should tell you that.

This is funny though that this is the best the Zoro fans could come up with to cope.

But it negates the statement of you saying Luffy didn't beat Kaido 1 on 1.

King is more durable than Kaido and its not debatable
(1) If you love feats, both took tatsumaki from Zoro, King was scratchless and Kaido got cut
(2) If you love portrayal:
- WG had both Kaido and King locked up, but they chose King's DNA over Kaido's
- Luffy compares Seraphims to Kaido
- Zoro calls Seraphims invincible with flames on
- Lucci tells Luffy he will never beat the seraphim without using his head

Despite King stating Kaido is the strongest or that no one would be able to beat him meaning King himself.

If the panel that you provide is before the one which I provided that means the one you provided happens before the one I did which by implication means that the barrier Kaido still had was there which Luffy smashed through not fell off because Kaido ran out of haki. No amount of selective panelling can change the narrative time of events.

I've seen too many Youtuber tier rankings that disagree with this. There aint nothing definite about it.
