Garp will probably die here but i dont know how many schizo pills you need to eat to come to the conclusion of a 1vs1 even happening let alone with shiryu winning.
I know many dont read the manga and look at the funny pictures but even then shiryu was demonstrably shown exclusively as someone that cheapshots his opponents or tortures prisoners.

No one say garp will be beat by shiryu. It can happen but that isnt what we mean. if there are post like that its just to mess with you for downplaying the rain. We are just saying shiryu wont loose either but will put up a fight against garp and likely deal damage. garp be 100% beat by anyone, almost everyone will damage him beside blackbeard and shiryu like with WB in marinford.
If BB is on the island, Garp can be taken down
but with no BB
Garp is pulling a win here..
Garp is Luffy’s grandad.. if Oda will try to fuel more hatered with the fight between Luffy and BB it’s by BB doing it himself..
I can see Shiryuu doing dirty tactics to help BB and handicap Garp though
and I wouldn’t be surprised if Aokiji got involved too in those dirty tactics to keep his cover a secret… not to mention Garp & Aokiji have some history.. Aokiji always looked up to Garp
So I can see some dramatic dirty moves against Garp
But he will only go down by BB if he’s losing.. no one else
but with no BB

If Shiryu and Garp end up fighting and the fight will be fought to a conclusion, Shiryu will certainly not lose. This is a no-brainer.
Oda had plenty of chances to shit on Shiryu but instead he kept his record clean in a crew that he constantly shits on.
Garp is the bargaining chip that Blackbeard needs for his Kingdom wishes to come true.
Garp will likely lose in this open war between Marines and Pirates where both sides have reinforcements.
And the only one capable of beating him is none other than Shiryu.
There is no point in bringing Garp to Beehive if all he does is walks away.
