The right hand man of bastard BB has to be strong and a level above King, and for that he's surely getting power ups.
First thing he will be awakening his DF and going into the state of nothing, and secondly his sword will be the strongest sword in the world durable wise.

Zoro will not only learn to cut nothing, but everything.

I don't think it'll ruin it, Shiryu will still be a swordsman like Shanks who failed to turn his blade a black blade and settling with such alternatives

But Shanks still made it to Yonko level with only his sword, right? Well, it may just be about my personal preference, but I hope Shiryu's sword stays as a sword.

I remember years ago, preTS already, people wished Zoro would get a fruit for his swords. I'm so glad he didn't.

But couldn't surpassed Mihawk, Shiryu won't either and he will be likely 3rd last fight.
It's either Admiral/Gorosei n Mihawk after that.

and a 2b bounty RHM should be worthy enough
