Speculations Should Oda add “the Zodiacs” as strong Vice Admirals?

One of the biggest problems that the Marines face is that all of their Vice Admirals (Garp excluded) are weak fucks. Even amongst the hyped up “Buster Call VAs,” Momonga and Strawberry looked like trash in front of Hancock and Jinbe, respectively.

As we all know, the Admirals have monikers involving a color and animals from the 12 Zodiac signs. Currently, the pheasant, monkey, dog, tiger, and bull have already been used. We can also probably write off the goat since Sengoku is already heavily associated with that animal, and it’s possible that Sengoku did have a moniker containing “goat” when he was an Admiral. Could the remaining 6 animals consist of 6 strong Vice Admirals. If this group did exist, we’d already know of two of their members, Momousagi and Chaton.

However, I’m not so sure if Oda would go this route. As I mentioned earlier, Sengoku probably already had the goat moniker, so it’s likely the two other Admirals during that time also had monikers containing two of the other animals. The last 4 animals will probably be filled out by the new FA and 3 new Admirals after the WG is defeated and the Marines are reformed. These 4 will probably be Coby, Smoker, Drake, and Sentomaru. Sentomaru can be the pig, Drake can be the dragon, Smoker can be the snake, and Coby can be the rat. The horse and rabbit can be Sengoku’s peers. I’m assuming that Gion and Tokitake’s monikers would be noncanon in this case.

Hope not, we are in a point in the story that the VA are just useless, if there was VA stronger than first commanders there would be no need for the draft of Fuji and Ryu.

Belive if the SH get to fight the marines, only the monster trio will get fights against Akainu and the admirals, so i dont believe there's a need to introduce new strong VA, the ones that already exist are enought to deal with the vast majority of the Pirates in the world.

Probably only the Emperors, the top commanders and some other few pirates (Mihawk, Hancock, Weevil, Doffy, Kuma, Law, Kid) could fight the VA that were in Marineford, the reason they seems weak was because they were fighting the strongest crew of the time. But for the pirate world outside the New World the VA are super strong.

8/12 if sengoku counts as the goat

Vergo said Smoker’s haki was weak for Vice Admiral so most of them are probably around Vergo.

Bastille was actually crazy impressive, the only problem was that his opponent was literally a first commander

I think Luffy and Zoro will vs Akainu and Fujitora respectively, but I doubt Cook will vs an Admiral, especially with the Revos around and glory hogs like Kidd and Killer obviously not just sitting out of the chance to boost their names.

With the amount of similarities Cook and Chaton share, I doubt we miss out on Cook vs Chaton. Also, Cook not getting Adv. CoC + Adv. CoA is suicidal vs top tiers like the Admirals, whereas an Admiral candidate like Chaton is a believable foe he could defeat. Yamato is likely to vs Momousagi, too.

Momonga's hype alongside Onigumo's in particular make me posit that they will likely be taken on by the Revos and defeating them will prove a major problem considering Sabo and Dragon if present will arguably be busy elsewhere.
