Chapter Discussion So Imu is Lili?

#43
Anyone who thinks Lili is Imu, has either forgotten this panel or is ignoring it.

The Five Elders have called the Nefertari Family traitors because Lili decided to stay with her kingdom instead of joining with the others, the Five Elders seeing Lili and her family as traitors and then serving Imu who is somehow Lili herself doesn't make sense.
Can still work if it’s the younger brother who took over Alabasta who is considered the traitor. Unless Lili had a child she left in Alabasta, it’s the younger brother who is the direct ancestor of Cobra and the progenitor of the Nerfetiti’s.

Y'all are assuming Imu = Lilly is, Lilly herself actually deciding to be Imu.

Imu very well can be a brainwashed lili, dependent on what Imu actually is as an entity. If Imu is a bearer of great power, not combat but simply power, that allows the CD to rule the world properly or gives them some sort of an advantage in ruling the world, then Lili would simply be the vessel that was used to contain that power in.

The Five Elders have called the Nefertari Family traitors
The possibility of Lili herself just making the decision for her entire family with others in the family having no say, is very low.

She was the main leader, yes. But the family outside of her also chose to stay remain. Whereas they could've simply abandoned her and went to Mariejois, thus lili would be the traitor and not the entire family.

That means there’s a being above Imu which is puppetteering Imu, which then it really would be a kaguya situation…

It doesn't prove shit.
Actually it can even be an argument in favor of the theory.
It would prove the Gorosei did not lie when they said they were not aware that Lily had never returned to Alabasta
Which mean they simply don't know Lily became Imu.

I forgot about this line. Definitely goes well with my theory that Lily abandoned the WG and joined the ancient kingdom in this war.

Not necessarily. For example, 19 Kings need a vessel to store some type of devil or power. Lili is used as the vessel by the 19 to store that power in. In order to make sure the power is kept safe and respected, they've made it king of the world as it's what allows the CD to keep reigning supreme, while CD (Gorosei specifically) are still the ones who control everything, except when they need to make decisions regarding certain key things which Imu's powers allow em to take.

You could also have a scenario where Lili's body is just possessed by a devil that was over the 20 Kings.

There's multiple scenarios that you can play out with Imu being lili, while also being the main dog.

Yeah I guess it could play out like film red did. Not that I minded tot musica, and ending the series with a straw hats vs single entity fight would be great, but I have my personal doubts of oda doing it over luffy just being a Jesus character.

I don't know much about that movie's story so can't comment.

But I think Luffy being Jesus isn't gonna stop, if it's not Imu fighting him, it'll be one of the Gorosei, if not them it'll be Kong, if not him it'll be Akainu, etc etc. He's still gonna end up being the ultimate savior he's been since chapter 2.
:josad:

I'm still banking on it being about Luffy/Dragon/Garp saving the world at the end so Monkey D. Jesus family, rather than Luffy solo show.

Lili never came back and became imu?

Technically, her weapon is also not on the throne room. Hence the equals does not apply to her.
Yep it seems that way
Post automatically merged:

No. The Gorosei wouldn't serve a traitor.

Lili knew the truth, hence why she didn't follow through with the sword placement on the throne
Maybe they consider the Nefetaris traitors because they’re descended from Lili’s brother, who chose not to rule alongside her

We've reached to the point where One Piece fans want the final villain to be someone who looks like Vivi and have Luffy doing this to her :

&

If One Piece's final villain is a pretty woman, we're gonna fall harder than Naruto did with Kaguya.
Imagine Baki fans saying Baki's girlfriend is the final antagonist instead of Hanma Yujuro.
lmao

We seriously went from Kaido to Akainu to Blackbeard to a pretty lady.
One Piece fans (especially certain one piece youtubers) has themselves to blame for.

We're fcked!!!!
