Questions & Mysteries So the World Government simply hired two yonko-level fighters through a draft?

Yeah, Fujitora > Akainu.

Luffy was already making Fujitora buff, so WCI Luffy > Fujitora > Akainu.

That will make Emperors not Emperor tier, that will make them Pirate King Tier.

Kaido > WCI Luffy > Fujitora > Akainu.

Kizaru couldnt even scratch old rayleigh and fujitora failed to mid diff sabo

Which one is yonko character again?
Fujitora wasnt fighting Sabo seriously, even Sabo says that, while its clear that Ray isnt a weakl, the guy in his prime probably was stonger than any Emperor/Admiral besides WB, as he makes clear the he could deal with Kizaru and also help the others with Pacifistas and Sentomaru.

It makes about zero sense for there to be random citizens that are just that strong who exist in the world, if they were former notorious pirates or something then it could be understandable, but we're to assume that they're random citizens that maybe practiced martial arts in a dojo or something ended up being comparable to C3/Yonko, complete bullshit.

Also, people saying Kaido/BM are an example have no idea what they're talking about, Kaido and Big Mom were fodder comparatively when the Marines tried to get them, Fujitora/Ryokugyu are just two random dudes who are top ten in the verse for no reason when the Marines turned them into Admirals.

Fujitora was probably the greatest warrior of some random kingdom, that was so corrupt and/or brutal, that he blinded himself to no longer see it's evil. Then when the draft happened, they probably waived the Heavenly Tribute for them in exchange for him.

No real idea about Ryokugyu. Maybe a mercenary or bounty hunter?

wanna explain the logic?
How being a pirate makes you stronger than being a citizen with martial arts hobby?

Notorious pirates are forced to constantly fight other notorious pirates and grow stronger through it, we literally see this just by watching the stawhats alone, they became exponentially stronger just from fighting other pirates throughout the pre-TS.

Would Zoro be even 1/100th as powerful as he is now if he remained and trained at that sword dojo for example? No lol

Not really. It was worldwide draft and it was only 2 fighters. From the entire world aka a population of million/billion. Freaks of nature like Oden are a things. Maybe Fujitora was a powerful warrior from some country and Ryokugyu a bounty hunter
Actually, the fact they had to do a world draft to fill the admirals spot instead of promoting actual marines show fighters powerful enough to become admirals are very rare as WG had to find them from outside

So those gladiators in Dressrosa spring out of thin air? We KNOW there are many brilliant fighters in the OP world There's even a world martial arts tournament that we don't see. Of course there'd be powerful fighters who aren't interested in playing pirates vs robbers.

There's a difference between "powerful fighters" and among the ten strongest in the verse, those gladiators are barely mid tiers.

I never said there can't be random strong people in the world, I said it makes no sense for there to be Admiral tier random citizens in the world.

Why not? Give Kyros a powerful Devil Fruit and train in him Haki. Bam, Admiral.

If Issho and Aramaki come from Wano, it all makes sense :finally:
