Lmao, realize that both Luffy and Law were handed RPs on a platter from Zou (which Kid might have even gotten) and WCIs was stolen, right? The only legitimate one was Wano, where the Yonko was defeated.
Its only fair the remaining Yonko fight and defeat their opponents for rubbings. They still dont know where the 4th one is and they still have to fight with Luffy over One Piece. If you didnt see this shit coming a mile away, thats on you

We know that Law and Kidd arent a real threat for Luffy, so why have them as PK rivals? We arent gonna see Luffy fighting them when we already saw them as allies and we know Luffy is superior, personally and military.
Only Shanks and BB are the real threat for them. So even if Shanks, Luffy, Law, Kidd and BB went to search the One Piece, the conclusion would had been the same, Luffy fights BB or Shanks, loses and doesnt have a new Road Ponelygl or Shanks and BB encounters Law and Kidd and the same happens.
Heck, Shanks should already know where all of them are lol, he might even have them and just wants to take Kidd, he is friend to Zou, to the Gyojins, was friend of Oden and maybe already had it. He might just be missing 1 or 2.

Nothing stops BB and Shanks from going to WCI and Wano, and casually strolling in and taking Poneglyph rubbings for themselves now that Kaido and Big Mom are out of the picture.
Is that much more exciting for you over them doing battle against Law and Kidd for the rubbings instead?

At least with this route they are actually getting some kind of challenge for the rubbings, instead of just walking in, spanking a few underlings, and walking out.
Like Blackbeard legit sent two people to WCI and that was enough to plow through their forces and kidnap one of Big Mom's children.
Thats the alternative.

He didn't give his rubbings to them. Kidd had Big Mom's one (retcon) and Law gave him Kaido's rubbing.
Law had Zou's one and acquired Kaido's one as well.
Luffy has 3 and he gave none to them.
Law just happened to be there in Zou and both Law and Kidd were in an alliance with Luffy during the raid so they all had the poneglygh that was in Wano.

The point is Teach plot make sense. He invaded Big Mom territory when she wasn't there and kidnapped Pudding. Probably also got her Poneglyph. So he has at least one and someone who eventually may be able to read and he is going after some more.

You don't get his point at all, it's a complain from a narrative and story construction pov.
They're getting the RP for free basically, because the plot needs, that lazy writing.
It's not about them being fair or moralistic.
It's about Oda taking the most easy and bring way to get them on the Pirate King race.
