General & Others So wanting to be Pirate King doesn't matter anymore, huh?

Blackbeard probably has ulterior plan he definitely has eyes on pirate king but also making sure he corners WG into his bidding by making koby hostage. Which koby rightly points out he is worthless to them .

Also it's very possible after attaining poneglyph from Law he has no use for hachinosu and might go to elbaf to challenge Shanks .

Right now with Sword being introduced Garp will definitely crush rest of bb pirates and take back koby.

So instead of wanting to you know become the title this whole 1000+ chapter manga is about, BB instead wants to be a king of a nation no different than any other mid tier Pirate we have seen: Croc, Doffy, Kuma, etc. So BB stopped being a Warlord which would have given him that authority of "king of a nation" so that he can become a Yonko who needs approval from the WG in recognizing his territories. One Piece is basically just a bunch of random subplots that make no sense.

To dummies, this is exactly the same as his impel down plan. If he's a king recognized by the world government they have to let him into the reverie. If they let him into the reverie he is like two doors from the empty throne and being able to become king of the world by force like Rocks wanted.

Why do you think he ambushed Law, for funsies?
What was that Doflamingo was saying about laws fruit and the treasure of mariejois? Hmm.

Dum dum Lee forgot Blackbeard literally fighting Law over his RPs which timeline wise, comes AFTER his conversation with Koby.

This thread is actually low IQ bait
Oh I forgot, you have to fight Law to be pirate king. Thanks for reminding me. Last time I checked Law was captured by Kaido which led to absolutely nowhere. Road Poneglyphs? Oh that is right, BB also has Robin with him. Oh wait, that was Pudding. She is just going to magically awaken her powers now that the plot needs her. So instead of developing BB sooner, Oda now has to use even more plot conveniences. Yea let us also have BB wanting his Warlord status too since he wants to be a king of a nation. Great A+ writing by Oda.

He doesn't want to be pirate king. He wants to be king of the world.

He doesn't want to be pirate king. He wants to be king of the world.
Yea him wanting to be King of a Nation with government approval really is the same thing as him wanting to be king of the world. Mental gymnastics as usual by One Piece fans. WG has seraphim, ancient weapon, fleets upon fleets, admirals, gorosei, and yet BB is searching for Hancock devil fruit. Yep that world domination makes total sense to me.

BB is thinking beyond PK. He's aiming to be the king of the world.

PK title is still only an outlaw title. It's a title limited to only pirates. It doesn't give you protection against the Marines or world government. They went after Roger after he became PK, captured him, and executed him.
Yea BB searching for Hancock devil fruit and kidnapping Koby really is him trying to be king of the world. What great writing by Oda to make his fanbase eat up and go through so much mental gymnastics to make sense of his writing.

"Teach wanna be king of the world so if he becomes king of Beehive , he can go to reverie or marijois"

No need to have him as Yonko, let him stay as warlord.
Someone who knows he won't be accepted yet makes the silly plan still.

Coby plot seemed interesting until we learn about Teach dumb Goal

Teach joins the WB pirates -> he betrays them for ulterior motives
Teach joins the warlords -> he betrays them for ulterior motives
Teach wants to join the WG -> obviously his endgame and he couldn’t possibly have any ulterior motives beyond that

Wrong,BB desire is just one step to his biggest dream

He is a pirate and he wants to be king... what's the issue? Are you going through map withdrawals?

You know game of thrones shows a map at the beginning of each episode...
