General & Others So what was Devon and Auger's purpose in Egghead!

#21
Wondering if they could his DNA when he was a Warlord briefly :choppawhat:
If I were Saturn and just had signed the papers for his on-boarding, this task would be of utmost urgency.

So what's your saying is that there a seraphim Blackbeard and they were sent to egghead to retrieve it!
Yes. Anything regarding this topic really.
If there's any sample, destroy it. If there's any seraphim, retrieve it or destroy it. That's why the following panel makes their mission so much easier just as Devon says:

Whatever genetic heritage Teach has in his blood, he really does not want another individual running around with it.
This is actually a very great point.
If BB knows that he and he alone has the lineage of the rightful monarch of the world, then the news of a governmental weapon with his own lineage would be a big threat to him.

Blackbeard was only named a warlord for like a few days, most likely he never had anything like the dna or blood sample.
What we should really be looking for is the Law Seraphim because he was a Shichibukai for about a year.

That brings up how the WG even got the blood samples from the original seven. I pity the poor bastard who had to go get Hancock's.

Lol it may have been a condition upon accepting the title, or maybe they all simply met Vegapunk who was such a genuine and reasonable person that he was able to convince them to do it? except that Blackbeard was there such a short time they never even had the meeting

Maybe. Teach did get cut up at Marineford, so maybe they had some blood taken from there.

I imagine after the whole two DF's thing, someone like Vegapunk would have been very curious about that.

Hard to get blood samples like that but maybe. They could whip out a Buggy, Law, and Blackbeard seraphim sometime later. Maybe even Shanks since he has been around the WG.

I think so, but the fact he didn’t ever mention means he may have known right away exactly what Blackbeard was doing and how. Since he knows all about extracting the essences of the fruit he may understand how Blackbeard’s darkness can ‘eat’ the power just like he figured out how to do it with swords.

Also...it could just be Saturn thought cloning someone like Teach could simply be too dangerous.

Like, I'm sure they had blood samples from Kaido, and they'd be nuts to clone him.

I’m not sure, their knowledge of his lineage may come from their study of his dna, but yes if he is an ancient enemy of the WG they absolutely wouldn’t clone him even if they got a sample to study.

I think we're piecing it together. So, perhaps one way or another, they got Teach's blood sample and once analyzed, Saturn stopped any research as he realized what made him so unique.

Then, after Amazon Lily, when he saw the Seraphim, Teach realized they could have said blood and he ordered its destruction.

Because let's be real here they even didn't come here for Saturn so Devon can copy him they never knew he was coming and when they saw him both was surprised to see him

And Saturn told the marines to NEVER let anyone know he was here

So what was there purpose coming here for if the plan wasn't getting the seraphim or s-snake like most assume!
We know that Lafitte has been observing the movements on marijoea. Plus Saturn didn’t teleport to Egghead like the others, he went by ship so chances Lafitte noticed & informed Teach so Saturn might have been their objective from jump. Which makes the latest chapter even more interesting as it was stated that you need to have the mark to go through the pentagram which the BB Pirates now have access to thanks to Saturn’s clone

Clearly it had to be Aokiji having his own spies this is my suspect he is still acting as undercover as Sword member other than that I don’t think Blackbeard would have had clue Saturn would personally arrive to monitor VP’s situation .

So how did they know he was coming
Blackbeard have Aokiji they probably gained Intel he was arriving .
