So deep sea already gives you immortality and a boost in a power. So what could be the next level? Elder Five transformations? I thought it's all DFs

It's just Imu's power. The marks are a scam, they make you a slave. Imu only grants them immortality to enslave them forever

Imu gives a mark for power buff and immortality in exchange for total control...
...Moriah gives shadows to corpses and grants them a power buff.

The difference between these marks is probably just a plot device to save Shanks.
I guess limiters for how much of his own power Imu can manifest in said subjects.
First rank seems just symbolic and made for Shanks.

Deep mark seems immortality and power buff while abyss also allows transformation into demon forms.

Well, none of them, including Cerberus are ever confirmed to be DFs. On the flipside, Gunko, Sommers and Killingham all have referenced DFs.
