Like how Law has resigned to being Luffy's bitch but pretending not to be, by verbally saying he isn't, but following his commands without hesitation, Kidd is looking like he is also resigning to the fact that Luffy has something special about him, I.e. a higher ceiling. All the worst gen, other than the losers like Apoo and Hawkins, will become Luffy's supporting acts.

Bonney, X Drake, Kidd, Law, Bege are all Luffy's underlings now. We are just missing the Mad Monk to fall in line and there is zero doubt in my mind that he will.

The bad writing is her presence in Wano not the way she lost because it seems Oda didn't know where to go with her so he just got rid of her here using the SN vs mid and old gen thematic. Which is a bit lazy imo.

Ever since that fight ended, I kept trying to rationalize why we didn't see Linlin use a single ACoC attack. Clearly, she was fighting seriously, so it didn't make sense for her to be holding back that much, especially after sacrificing lifespan or having her bones broken.

Ultimately, I realized that the answer is simple. Oda just doesn't care. He likely had big plot points planned for Kid and Linlin when they were introduced, but he changed his mind and now basically doesn't care about them a single bit.

We know BM was unleashing Conqueror's in their battle. Just because you didn't see it, it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

And Big Mom only released regular CoC because she has no real mastery over advCoC and can only use it once a day

Lin Lin couldn't use her AdvCoC because she witnessed the new era making a strong case to overtake them during the initial phases of roof piece. Her resolve fell in line to that and she probably stopped believing that she was still the shit.

To have CoC you need to have that overwhelming resolve that you were born to stand head and shoulders above others and lead them, she probably realised at her old Grandma age she had failed to accomplish this and her haki dwindled. This is kind of supported by her inner monologue as she was falling "Roger why did you have to go and do that and create this pirate frenzy, you're dead but all these start ups are coming for our heads!" Aka she wanted the road to PK status to be far easier and isn't really cut out for this life. She been fronting.

Kidd is usually underrated on this board but Yamato gave me the impression she could have at least handled him 🧐 she is honestly low-mid difficulty material to a serious Kaido that being established......

Mine is the following

Linlin couldn't use CoC because she is pathetic talentless trash who hasn't mastered CoC enough to use it more than once a day and she is the weakest top tier by far.

My theory is she was perched up in her fat kingdom, getting obese, eating cake all day, not really having epic clashes year in year out and it has dulled her fighting abilities. You can train and get to a certain level but without that constant practice and sharpening your abilities to at least maintain them + old age, you're going to be a weakling when you put on the gloves again. I mean it was obvious when Monster Chopper and Jinbei were pushing her around in Whole Cake Island.

Kaido mentions after her defeat that old hag lost because her age is catching up to her, even the strongest man alive couldn't beat the ageing process.
