Honestly, if it wasn't for her Wano feats I would be inclined to agree with you, particularly when examining the Soru Soru's versatility. Especially with the amount of effort you put into this post. However her portrayal in Wano has been abysmal, particularly her attack power and degree of Homie control.

In a way Linlin was the worst person to get the fruit.

Great read! looking forward for more. I agree that Soul Soul fruit could actually be considered a Superior to Logias or Even one of the Best Fruits out there but still a Logia user can change forms. I like how Oda gave this Fruit to the character that literally gave birth to the Empire she runs. Her mindset and her Vitality along with her Fruit that gives "Life" to her surrounding makes you think if everyone's fruit is a random pick or.... since their ambitions and their stories somehow goes along with their fruit.

Big Bom is a mix of born monster str, durability, immense haki and Soru Soru which makes her super powerful, while admirals are strong because their fruits are powerful. In this case, the Admirals' mastered logia are better than Big Mom's Soru Soru. Now if Big Mom was solely strong because of her Devil Fruit like the Admirals, it would be right.

I wouldn't put it like that. Zeus and Prometheus in terms of attack size are virtually Ace+ and Enel+ in the palm of her hand. Napoleon is a Giant's sword on steroids. The problem imo comes from the AP and elemental control being hampered by plot restrictions and her childish mind.

On paper the Soru Soru is one of the most powerful Devil Fruits ever: One shot anyone who fears you or death, borderline Logias immune to Haki, and the ultimate Giant's sword. It's a shame it is ruined by Meme's amateur reactions and Haki. Give it to Kaido and it might be even scarier than his canon fruit.

The Soru Soru is quite strong, maybe even OP. But both Oda and Big Mom's no brain moments downplay the fruit a lot. If you give the fruit to someone competent, and you don't allow Oda to use some good old PIS with it, everything would be different.

Counterpoint to your counterpoint: There is the Pirate King, the Admirals, and an endurance freak who creates earthquakes that shatter the ocean and reality itself. If you are competent and strong enough, people will fear you.
