Only those theories which touch upon group-defining issues will fuel that toxic tradition you mentioned; groups that are reduced to "with me or against me": Zoro fandom versus Sanji fandom being the prime example of this. ZKK turned into a cult fighting for their identity more than a theory for some guys here, to the point we're having users suffering from mental breakdown or even leaving the forum after it didn't happen as they dedicated tons of their time to opening lots of threads, engaging in endless debates or even writing essays on this topic. But the core behind all of this is their identity as "Zoro fans", and same can be applied to any bloodshot discussion you will find in here since, as I said, none of them are about theories themselves but fighting "the other"; nobody is fighting to "death" over what fruit Sanjuan Wolf has, after all.
These people have weak minds. Seriously, it's as easy as that; they need to identify as part of a group and will defend such identity as it's definitory of their self in this place. Hopefully they only behave like that with stuff like ZKK because such tendency to the hivemind is a dangerous trait for any society.
Zunesha clearly has a purpose, it's meant to knockdown Wano's borders, which can't happen right at this time. It'll be back later to do the same thing.
Oda wanted Zunesha there reminisce about Joy Boy. Whether that was necessary or not is another question entirely
This.
Oda could have tied this together with other plot points. The Zunisha scene was almost disconnected from the actual events and then he just leaves.
Makes me thing Oda hadn't planned Wano's final stages before.

not referring to that. the raid was never going to fail.
stuff like zunesha coming to wano, which creates an expectation, which creates the premise for theories, that is then betrayed just to say "you thought this thing had a purpose? nope, nothing is happening"
Zunesha showing up to watch Joy Boy return, and then just leaving immediately afterwards, has to be one of the most random things Oda ever did in this story.
Zunesha is that guy who got stuck in traffic trying to bring drinks to the party, who then left once he realized the party was already ending.
