Speculations Straw Hats vs Marines

Depends on how the final war is gonna happen imo
If the SHs fight the Marines + WG at the same time, then I could see Zoro and Sanji skip the Admirals and fight the Gorosei instead (or vice versa depends on your point of view).
If it happens seperately on two completely different arcs tho, then yeah
Zoro vs Fujitora
Sanji vs Amarki
Luffy vs Akainu
With Luffy vs Akainu is that it doesn't have to be an extreme diff fight like the other twos, a proper mid/high diff will be enough to solidify Luffy's strength above the rest

If anything, Sommers is kinda similar to Twerkbull, so if Sanji indeed has Killingham as his main fight, then I'd say it's Oda trying not to be repetitive (because plants vs fire is always a bad match for plants).
Although, while I still see the potential of M3 fighting A3, unless admirals get the haki power up while M3 will have AdvCoC, it's going to be tough for Akainu and his bros.
Damn, what a great depiction of the admiral feats. I kinda feel for admiral bros as a Sanji fan - both admirals and Sanji got cooler feats pre-TS. Admirals have it even worse, with Akainu being buried under red tape, Kuzan leaving the Marines, and Kizaru being the only one who got some interesting focus on Egghead.
Although, while I still see the potential of M3 fighting A3, unless admirals get the haki power up while M3 will have AdvCoC, it's going to be tough for Akainu and his bros.

Idk why we think any matchup in any arc ends up being as clean as we think. Do I think Sakazuki, Issho and Aramaki wil be fought by the M3? Absolutely. Do I think Akainu has select Marines that were also conscripted by him to be his elite? Yes. But we've seen time and time again how matchups in this story never pan out or never end up clean at all. They have not literally since Alabasta.
Egghead and Elbaph are just the latest in showing us how this operates. Oda doesnt have the time nor the luxury to draw out 1v1 fights for everyone, nor does he seem to have interest to. He brought like 10 fightable Marines only have Kizaru do nothing and Zoro fight Lucci out of all people. Then he proceeded to bring 4 GKs to Elbaph and then removed one. We'll see if the paradigm shifts in a few chapters but right now its looking very similar as the last arc.
If its not clear already, he's saving an indescribable amount of enemies for the endgame of this manga, to probably not receive their time of say onscreen or to the level of detail people want from their fights. And that should worry or scare you because he refuses to remove enemies from the story.
