There's no proof Lafitte dodged Ace's attack, and ambiguous manga panels don't count. And even then, Van Auger has dodged Ace.

We know Shiryu and Zoro are the number twos and swordsmen. We know Pizarro and Sanji were former North Blue royalty. Vasco Shot is implied to be an entertainer. Wolf is compared to a battleship. Devon has nothing (so far) other than being female and dark humor like Robin.

I think Burgess is going to be the Jack/Diamanté of the BB pirates where he’ll be fought by someone allied with the crew. My moneys on Sabo due to their history.

Titanic Captain 2 - 5 vs the east blue pirates

Shiryu vs Zoro

Battle of Swordsman with similar experiences joining the crew

Van Augur vs Usopp

Battle of the Snipers and fortune tellers (Van Augurs name is based on a fortune telling device and he’s big on fate. and we all know Usopps lies become truths)

Pizarro vs Nami

Battle of the Thieves. Both Nami and Pizarros greed got them thrown out of their homes and although we’ve yet to see Pizarro fight, he’s the only one that seems to use an item to amplify his strength (his gauntlets) which Nami can steal to win.

Lafitte vs Sanji

The battle of the strategists. Lafitte seems too strong for anyone under the monster trio, and with his ability to sneak into Mariejoa Sanji fits him the most. We’ll likely know more once we hear lafittes background tho.

Titanic Captain 6 - 10 vs Grand Line Recruits

Devon vs Robin

We don’t know much about Devon just that she hunts beautiful women. As such I get the feeling robin will be a major part of this war and I think Devon hunting her down will be a good way to start a fight

Sanjuan vs Franky

The colossal Battleship vs Battle Franky and the Golden Sunny seems like a good choice here

Vasco Shot vs Brook

We don’t know much about Vasco but the jester hat and jolly nature seems to fit Brook

Nah Burgess is going to be strong, but Lafitte seems like his superior based on what happened during the Ace fight and when Burgess needed people mobilized to help him he called Lafitte to do so.
