Powers & Abilities Strawhats Powerups on Elbaf?

#1
Elbaf is probably the the first time since Shabondy pre-ts that the SHs have been in such a helpless situation where they've been completely powerless and unable to do anything in the face of antagonists as such feels like a prime opportunity for growth for the majority of them with some of them in the likes of Chopper actively seeking out strength in order to overcome the current dire situation they are faced with.

*Jury is still out on the M3 with regards to how well equipped they are with their current abilities to deal with the current situation, but given the tendency for Luffy to lose his first confrontation against the main antagonist of the arc, I can't imagine it'd completely be smooth sailing for them even they are able to move the needle for current dire situation on Elbaf in a positive direction.

So what do y'all think? Are we gonna get significant strength development from the the SHs on Elbaf? Or is the arc just gonna end with the M3 swooping in and saving the day one again? If not what form do you think potentially strength development for the SHs will take? In general or specifically for each SH.

Robin will probably at least learn basic Armament Haki. It would protect her sprouted limbs from being easy targets, something that was exploited in her previous fight with Black Maria. All the Hakiless Straw Hats need it, but for Robin in particular, it seems the most straightforward way to address her weakness.

Franky's laser beam may improve since Sanji mentioned that Franky would love to have the tech that enables Queen to rapid-fire lasers. It would be cool if Franky incorporated seastone instead of Haki, but if all the other Straw Hats receive Haki training, it's unlikely he'll be left out.

Armament does make sense for Robin from a progression standpoint, even more so when you consider that she turned down the opportunity to learn it over the TS, so will be a good overall buff but not sure that alone would be enough to change her fortunes against Sommers for instance considering Saul is a VA and should be able to use armament still feel victim to Saul. Similar ting can be said about the rest of the SHs as well. Sure, they'll get stronger if they all learn armament but don't think it'll really help change their fortunes against the Holy Knights. As opposed to the SHs learning something generic like armament, I feel like it'd be better if they learnt something a bit more abstract that each of them could potentially branch off from to grow stronger. Kinda like nen in Hunter x Hunter.
A simple haki buff just feels a bit too plain at this point in the series imo.

With regards to Franky, I'm in agreement that is next step for development is probably gonna be rapid fire lasers even more so given he's with Lilith atm and has stumbled on ancient robot technology on Elbaf. For some reason it's hard to imagine Franky learning armament for development but yh you're right in that if all the SHs get some type of haki buff then it's unlikely he'd be left out ^^

I believe Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe will at least learn how to counter the Holy Knights' immortality in this arc. However, since it likely involves Haki, based on Gaban's attack, and six of the ten Straw Hats still lack even basic Armament Haki, I doubt they'll gain that ability before learning the basics.

I think they'll develop their individual abilities while also learning basic Haki.

If SHs are getting power ups then it will be wifi haki or next level adv coc coating for Luffy and Zoro. Adv coa/adv coc/black flames for sanji.
There's no such thing as next level adv coc.
It's just a better utility of adcoc. There is no stronger version than the adv coc we've already seen.

Luffy will definitely develop better utility for his AdCoC. Zoro is too weak to do that.

Luffy: More Haki-infused G5 techniques
Zoro: Elbaph-based blade moves
Nami: Infusion of rainbow technology
Usopp: Elbaph-based trajectory moves, CoA
Sanji: Haki-infused usage of his Exoskeleton
Chopper: New Rumble Ball form, Rokushiki-based move
Robin: DF awakening, CoA (confirmation)
Franky: Vegapunk-based body weapons, CoA (confirmation)
Brook: DF awakening, CoO (a disputable one)
Jinbe: Berserk form

All of them learns how to damage immortals...

I could see Zoro learning the iconic Hakoku. Big Mom even has it but calls it Ikoku. Maybe Zoro will name his Enkoku (閻国), which could mean 'Hell Nation' or 'Kingdom of Hell.'
