This important character didn't go after the scrubs that "killed" his mom but he's going to go after a Yonkou?

Haki that Kata excels at is CoO he has already reached one of it's peak. Remember what Rayleigh told Goofy when he was training he should focus on all 3 types of haki that way he would be able to achieve much more. Kata put all his efforts into one type and the guy is 48

I don't think some people realize the importance of Streusen in the Big Mom pirates. The man was basically BM's equivalent of Zoro, at least at the start of the BMP. Just look:

• Kaido and King

Hence, while Streusen is obviously very old and out of his prime, in his younger days I think he might have been incredibly strong. The fact he saved the entire BMP hints as much:

He effortlessly sent a massive flying slash, even if he only cut cake. The man was clearly a master swordsman in his youth.

imo, due to Streusen's status as the original RHM of the BMP and his skills as a swordsman, it is extremely likely that Streusen is a powerful ryuo user. Much like Hyogoro.

I believe that now that Kata has the responsibility of taking care of his siblings and Pudding has been captured, Streusen will train Katakuri in ryuo, helping him to master CoA and unlock ACoC.

Streusen isn't comparable to guys like Zoro. He's not some loyal partner but rather someone who groomed a powerful, mentally unstable child for his own benefit. He and Caramel are the people most responsible for what Linlin became

Don't know what agenda you think I'm pushing. I never made any grand claims about Kata being an integral figure in the war against Teach.

I just think he'll come back stronger because

• the narrative demands it(Teach took his sister)
• Oda usually gives former villains this level of respect

Additionally, I think he might split the sky with Luffy as a homage to Roger vs WB, but I don't think he'll be more relevant than, say, Kid in Wano.

Not gonna lie,it would actually be cool if this happened.It would suck if the BMP crew ended up like WBP crew.Katakuri could still unlock advanced haki despite his age.
