-Kaido and Linlin are incredibly mentally ill, but have had no one able to stop them from their behavior, due to their ridiculous power
-This is shown in both of the introduction to their islands. In Whole Cake, Linlin is introduced destroying her own territory while craving sweets, then taking her own child's Soul, while Kaido was introduced destroying Okobore Town and then Oden castle in a drunken rage
-Awakening requires the Mind and Body to harness the ability
-Kaido and Linlin have not Awakened due to their diets destroying their mental health
-After around a month of cold turkey, both will be lacking what was holding them back

-Kaido will Awaken in Wano, when Pluton is activated. Linlin will probably Awaken in Elbaph, since she needs to learn the truth about her past, before her mind can become functional (Pudding + Chopper Regression Hypnosis Therapy? Pudding should be involved)
-Linlin will be a weird case, as usual. In whole Cake, in her slimmer form, Perospero mentioned even the Big Mom Pirates didn't know what would happen when Big Mom got that hungy, and lost that much weight
-Considering the Green Bull gag used with Raizo and Shinobu, I think we'll get Big Mummy, like a legit Buddhist looking corpse
-Kaido is a the most Buddhist character next to Zoro, with his attack names; Buddhism focuses on fasting and meditation for enlightment
-Kaido's Awakening would most likely cause Natural Disasters, as all his Fruit attacks are weather-based
-Kaido's Awakening could cause Mt. Fuji to erupt, and free Kaido and Linlin from their Magma pit

The sweets and booze were crutches.

Give Linlin and Kaido a bit more time in their little romantic hot springs get away in the magma. They'll be back once the volcano erupts again. They can't move because they're in magma, and no one can get them out...

If only there was a man around who could make more earthquakes, to cause an eruption in Wano (in case Kaido's Awakening happens later, or doesn't cause an Eruption).

Then, I realized, despite how possible these are, the most likely concept is Linlin's Haki CoC Roar erupting Wano's volcano, Mt. Fuji, to free them from their magma bath. Big Mom's CoC roars are capable of detonating and knocking away the blasts of RPG rockets.

Her Haki roars should be around Warcury's level, which was capable of knocking back Gear 5 Luffy, and two Giants with near 2 Billion bounties between them. I think that's enough to make Mt. Fuji blow, like, SERIOUSLY blow.

The Kaido reaching enlightment bit sounds fun, but, Linlin?

There's a good chance she gets so hungry, that she just CoC Haki roars so loud that Mt. Fuji erupts Kaido and Linlin back out after her roar causes earthquakes. Wano is already very unstable after the earthquakes from Imu using Uranus to destroy Lulusia.

Main point? We're getting Awakened Kaido and Big Mom once Mt. Fuji blows, and, all narrative foreshadowing leads me to believe that volcano is gonna go BOOM when Teach invades Wano for Pluton.

Part of me wonders if Kaido will repay his debt to Linlin by holding her out of the magma to keep her safe, like Oden with the Scabbards.

There's was a LOT of magma in that chamber, but, after Linlin and Kaido fell, there was an eruption that probably at least partially drained the chamber:

If the Magma is drained partially, but the underground of Wano is partially Seastone (Seastone is forged in Wano and made from the Pyrobloin in Lava mixing with Sea Water, so Wano's magma pools should be where they forge Seastone), then Kaido holding Linlin out of the magma to keep her safe and honor his debt to her fits their characters well.

I still think it's possible the magma cooled from the ocean water, too. Look closely on this next page (keep in mind this page occurs before the other two, before the explosion).

You can see holes in the bedrock of Wano's water basin leading water directly into the magma pool. At the least, the magma should cool significantly from this.

I believe these gas bubbles involve Pyrobloin, and "Quenching" is what produces Seastone.

So, based on this, here's the timeline:
-Kaido lands in his hole, causing more damage to Wano's breaking bedrock, which is now leaking water from the basin above down into the underground
-Shortly after, the force from Linlin + Kaido piercing Wano's bedrock down to its magma pools, plus the force of Onigashima's bombs falling with Linlin, triggers an earthquake
-This earthquake triggers an underwater volcanic eruption near Udon

From Luffy and Law's Crew being in Tokage Port, the Port the Scabbards left from originally to go to the Raid, when they were betrayed by Kanjuro, we can deduce that Onigashima's path to the Flower Capital went from its original location, to over the Tokage Port in Udon, then to the Flower Capital.

Unless this first eruption managed to launch them, which I doubt, Kaido and Linlin are still in a Magma pool underneath the Udon region.

The magma pool should be partially emptied after it exploded in Udon, and, the water from the cracks in the basin's bedrock leading the water into the magma pool should have also hardened the area around it into Seastone.

So, in order for the Big Mom and Beast Pirates to get through, they would have to first mine through a shit ton of Seastone, then pull Kaido and Linlin out of a pool of magma. Since Minatomo, the carpenter with nails up his nose who Franky worked for to get the Onigashima building plans Asura stole, got kidnapped, and was involved in making Kaido's castle in Onigashima, I'd imagine he can work Seastone. Minatomo needs to help them carve the Seastone out. I doubt they'll be successful, but, that's what they're trying to do.

Who's Who's base is in Udon because of this: the Beast Pirates are gathered in Udon, because that's where they need to mine to reach the Yonkou. Hence Udon being full of Mines, to begin with. Like Luffy and Kidd, two near-Yonkou Captains, were imprisoned in Udon, in Seastone, so are Kaido and Linlin. Except, they are literally in a natural prison of Seastone.

Only the rawest force of nature, the Ocean, made manifest into Kairoseki was strong enough to stop these Natural Disasters greater than even Calamities.

Who's Who is a Cipher Pol Agent thrown into prison for failing to guard the Gomu/Nika Fruit. He fought against Jinbe, a Fish-Man, who is part of the Sun Pirates, a crew full of former slaves who love the Sun, who was introduced in Seastone in the Prison Impel Down.

Who's Who is tied to Nika, and prisons, so, Who's Who will lead Yamato to Kaido, the man defeated by Nika, imprisoned in the same "boiling oil"/magma Oden died in. Yamato herself has spent much of her life as a prisoner, and Tama's parents died in the Udon prison mines.

Yamato will find her father, Kaido, and Linlin, trapped in a magma pool, a fiery eternal prison, just like:

I'm not sure if I'll theorize about Kaido's Awakening, as funny as that sounds. I kinda want it to surprise me.

It's also really possible Kaido was Awakened, and that his Shurron Hakke was Awakening, he clearly got a massive buff.

I still think Kaido might have been holding back against Luffy.

There's no reason Flaming Torch Dragon shouldn't be possible in Hybrid, and, IMO, that's the most terrifying thing I've imagined in the series: Onigashima's skull was touch enough to survive how much combat between Yonkou and Supernova?

Kaido's Flame Dragon Torch melted Onigashima's horn immediately. There's A LOT of argument Flame Dragon Torch is Kaido's Awakening, especially since it has no physical activator, like Shuron Hakke, which makes Shuron Hakke less likely to be an Awakening IMO, while Flame Dragon Torch was achieved with no artificial activator, just Kaido's Fruit.

Imagine Kaido in Hybrid using Raimei Hakke while in Flame Dragon Torch? That's like Akainu bullrushing you with a giant spiked club coated in Conqueror's Haki, oh hell naw, do not want.

At the least, Flame Dragon Torch could be a precursor to Kaido's Awakening, like Gear 4, especially Snakeman, being very adjacent to Gear 5.

It's also possible Kaido LOSES his mind during his Awakening, and goes insane, and needs to be killed by a certain swordsmen (ZKK lives)

I believe Linlin's Awakening will lead to actual Souls returning from the afterlife, on some level.

This would allow a lot of Wano characters to return, and give plot opportunities like Zoro meeting Ryuma/Ushimaru, Momo/Hiyori/Yamato meeting Oden, Carrot meeting Pedro, and Orochi and Kanjuro to cheat death A FUCKING GAIN

We know ghost can exist on this plane of existence and be seen because of Brook.

Kaido goes crazy after his Awakening goes wrong... or, possibly, Kaido loses his Soul to Big Mom/Mother Carmel.

Wano started with Kaido going on a wild rampage and destroying Okobore Town in Kuri.

Zoro killed Ryuma an undead Swordsman, who had killed a dragon in Wano over the Flower Capital. Zoro will kill mindless/soulless Kaido after his Awakening goes wrong/he loses control.

I also think it's possible that Yamato suffering a serious injury could trigger Kaido's Awakening, since if he really wanted to kill Yamato, she'd be dead, but, instad, he wanted her to be Shogun of Wano. IMO Kaido actually low-key respected Yamato's determination to stand against him, and knew she had the heart to properly lead Wano once Joy Boy defeated him.

The Kaido that rescued King and the Kaido that invaded Wano are too entirely different people.

I believe that Kaido REALLY tried to be Joy Boy, and, eventually, got a Prophecy from someone, perhaps Madame Shyarly.

This Prophecy consisted of the following information, and determined the course of Kaido's life, and explains his conquest of Wano entirely

1. Kaido would be defeated by Joy Boy
2. Kaido would die in the land of Wano
3. Kaido would die at the hands of a Samurai

Kaido thought Ace was the next Joy Boy (hence "Ace", the playing card Kaido doesn't have in his crew name list), and became suicidal once Ace died. Luffy, Joy Boy, gave Kaido his joy back, by making him believe Joy Boy WAS real, and that Luffy was him.

Kaido's BEEN TRYING TO DIE IN WANO FOR FUCKING OVER TWO DECADES because he wants to make the new Joy Boy.

The weapons, the Zoan army, all of it was for Joy Boy's eventual army/the Final War

Kaido was actually broken up over beating Luffy the first time. Kaido thought he had just ended the chance of Joy Boy being born himself. Like, he's CRYING over winning, and starts talking about humans clinging to faith. Kaido is talking about clinging to his OWN faith over Nika/Joy Boy.

What does Kaido say immediately after in the next chapter?

That is FUCKING DEPRESSION. Consider his face compared to how he looked fighting Luffy before this, when Luffy unlocked Conqueror's Coating, and Kaido is totally down rather than up.

Kaido after Luffy "died" because of Guernika interrupting? This is a seriously depressed individual.

Why did Guernika stop Luffy from fighting Kaido? Because the Gorosei feared Joy Boy's Awakening more than Kaido. They fear Nika more than Kaido. This is why Kaido asked Guernika if he "knew what he'd done". Kaido thought he was about to lose to Joy Boy, and, instead, killed him due to Government interference, and Kaido loses his mind and kills him.

When does Kaido regain his "Smile" his "Joy"?

When he confirms Luffy has successfully Awakened his Fruit and become Joy Boy, the Man destined to defeat Kaido.

Kaido says it himself. Who did he tell King Joy Boy was?

Kaido wanted Joy Boy to beat him, and Yamato to rule Wano as the Shogun who helped Joy Boy bring about the Dawn.

Once Kaido either loses his Soul, or Awakens, he will go berserk, and need to be put down.

Kaido believed Oden would be the Samurai to kill him, but, Zoro's been tied to decapitating a dragon for a long time.

Once Kaido is a mindless dragon, IMO, we'll see Zoro kill him to save the Flower Capital.

If Shanks comes to Wano when Blackbeard attacks for Pluton, and Luffy returns, which he should, we'll have five freaking Yonkou on one island, matching the five Gorosei on Egghead. In this case, Kaido will be the one out of the five to go. Egghead was an island built to mimic the Ancient Kingdom, while Wano used to be a part of it.

Oda's also referenced Zoro's sword eating Kaido's Fruit, and I hope this occurs during ZKK.

ZKK never died, Kaido just went on a hot spring trip to the bottom of Mt. Fuji, in the Magma baths, with his old friend/senpai from work, Big Mom, after meeting her again for the first time in years, and deciding to make a business deal.

I'm ready for Act 4, I got my popcorn, my Wanda body pillow, a bunch of herbal tea to drink, it's all coming together.
