Loki is definitely getting his hands on his father’s sword. Not only was Harald capable of using basically any weapon including hammers and swords and not only did nightmare Loki end up using both a sword and hammer but on top of that the god of war himself wielded both a hammer and sword
The sword is definitely going to get pulled out Jarul’s head this arc and when it does Loki will eventually get it
Blackbeard imo might already have some deeper connections to Xebec’s blade. It potentially having ties to an alter ego that only activates when he’s asleep. Something we’ve already seen before with Cavendish. I even made a theory on it with the will of Xebec’s blade somehow being a part of him.
His ship is even named the saber of Xebec which might actually be a description of Blackbeard himself
While Blackbeard obviously doesn’t have his hands on Xebec’s sword now if it ends up being the one in the holy land we’ve seen Imu use he might steal it back
Idk why people hate the idea of Shanks getting stronger in any way but I think he also will. That being through mastering Roger’s sword
Shanks was meant to be and still is Roger’s main successor. He might not be Joyboy himself but he’s found the next one. He was also the only Roger Pirate including Rayleigh and Gaban capable of doing divine departure. I think him somehow getting Ace would be extremely fitting.
As for how would he use both when he only has 1 arm? There’s 3 simple solutions
There’s obviously more to Shanks’s fighting style especially when putting 2 and 2 together either the name of his sword and looking at his brothers
So far no one in Luffy’s family uses any swords so why would Luffy? Obviously because Nika and Joyboy
Deadass in every depiction of them they’re seen with a sword and maybe a shield. Luffy is just straight up eventually getting weapons
Imo all 4 will end up being as strong as their predecessors while in base even having the same fighting style
- Loki gets Harald’s sword
- Blackbeard gets Xebec’s sword
- Luffy gets Nika’s sword
- Shanks gets Roger’s sword

- No I don’t think it makes his sacrificing his arm less meaningful because he lost in on purpose not because he wasn’t strong enough. Him sacrificing his arm means sacrificing his connection to the holy land
- He uses ace while griffon fights on its own

- Base Loki = Harald + nidhogg + ragnir
- Base Blackbeard = Xebec + darkness + quake + 3rd fruit (love?)
- Base Shanks = Roger + griffin + hopefully another power up
- Base Luffy = Garp = Nika + Nika weapons
