The Warlords were disobedient, Marineford highlighted that some of them were more focused on their own personal interests rather than their job, some were straight up traitors. Regardless of Mihawk’s power level, he showed a lack of effort.

If it doesn't it needs to go.They ended the warlord organization because they couldn't be controlled or trusted. The warlords were causing more harm than good.

Mihawk went after the Marines and became known as Marine Hunter. The Marines couldn't capture him because he was too strong. What is better? Suck up your pride and make Mihawk, someone who's destroying your organization, into a warlord to stop him or allow him to continue to take out Marines untill the organization is nearly or completely destroyed? The answer is easy. I'm starting to believe Mihawk is the reason they created the warlord organization.

Mihawk portrayal is one of the best. Oda just had to reveal his backstory that puts all the pieces together.
- Mihawk was a renowned swordsman before the Great Pirate age. He made a name for himself during the time pirates like Roger, Rayleigh, WB, Gaban, Oden, BM, Golden Lion existed and were in their prime.
- Was known as the Marine Hunter in the past because he went after Marines and the organization wasn't able to capture him. He might be the reason the Warlord organization was created. They needed a way to stop Mihawks rampage.
- Traveled the world and fought stronger and stronger opponents until there was no more worthy challengers and became the WSS.
- His duels against Shanks were called legendary by WB.
- Received a 3.59B bounty because of his strength (superior sword skill and WSS title). That is a rare feat because bounties typically aren't only based on a character's strength.
- Defeated the 3 seraphims they sent to Emptee Bluff Island.

In chapter 1086, that contain flashbacks and explained what happened around the world after the warlords were disbanded, we learned 3 seraphims were sent with the Marines that went to Emptee Bluff Island. Mihawk faced and beat 3 seraphim.

Nothing on that page even remotely implies that Mihawk even fought or defeated a single Marine. He is literally saying that he’s going to have to run away because the Marines are coming for him. At no point is it even implied that he fought them.

Those pirates are talking about the Marines that were destroyed by Crocodile. At no point did they even remotely imply that Failhawk scared any Marines away.

There is absolutely nothing on that page to even remotely imply that they were sent for Mihawk. They’re even talking about Crocodile on that page, not one soul gives a shit about Failhawk.

They had the biggest fight to date and Mihawk (and majority of warlords) did barely anything. Most Mihawk did for them was hold Luffy for a short period. Hancock was even fighting Smoker.
