Is there even something that can be called a "swordsman community"? It seems to me they are lone wolfs who fight endlessly to improve them and eventually get to the top.
About the not so hidden S vs Z what have Sanji to do with the science community? His only link is that he is to a degree a product of science just like seraphims, PX and so on. But the scientists who did the magic are Vegapunk, Judge, Caeser etc. Sanji doesn't match at all in this group.

I guess Zoro and Mihawk are the only tRuE swordsmen in One Piece. If Zoro, who fights by infusing his Meito with Ryuo and Haoshoku loses to Roger, who fights by infusing his Meito with Ryuo and Haoshoku, he would still claim the WSS title for himself, arguing that Roger is a pirate in the first place who doesn't actively pursue the title of the WSS.
If a sword is just a weapon of choice for Roger and he would fight just as well with an axe, it would be even more embarrassing for Zoro to accept the title of the WSS when losing to a sword that is just a "weapon of choice".
But obviously, Ace is not just a weapon of choice for Roger, because independently of the weapon Roger chose to fight with, he spent decades fighting with the blade, optimized his technique and developed named techniques. Obviously Roger won't be exactly as potent switching weapons.
It's not like Zoro couldn't fight using other weapons too; like using Killer's scythe as a sword replacement. Given the Giants can use things like Ikoku with both sword and axe, I don't see why Zoro wouldn't be proficient fighting with another weapon like axe either. There isn't much difference there, apart from Zoro having optimized his fighting with swords just like Roger.

Swordsmen are just way more important to the story than scientists.
Scientists: Vegapunk, Judge, Queen, Ceasar
Swordsmen: Roger, Rayleigh, Ryuma, Rocks, Shanks, Mihawk, Zoro
Look at the influence of the swordsmen in verse and story wise and then look at scientists.
Science of course:DenDen mushi,Warships,cannons,firearms,swords,Marineford's wall,kairoseki tools,pacifistas,artificial devil fruits,genetic modification,SSG project,Germa war tech and clone army,gigantification project,Bombs that can take out a Yonko...Science has done more the military might of the world.
