Theory Teach is the rightful heir to the throne of the Ancient Kingdom

About Teach's lineage

We know it is special

But what exactly is special about it?

Well for one we know he isn't a buccaneer. Saturn knew about Teach's lineage but he also knew that Kuma was the last buccaneer. So the two can't be related. Then what is it?

Whatever it is, it has to be something so special that the blackbeard pirates, Kuzan included, chose to rally around Teach. Teach being the son of Xebec or whatever wouldn't be enough to bring someone like Kuzan or Shiryu to Teach's side. It has to be something else.

I think that Teach is the rightful heir to the ancient kingdom's throne. If there was an ancient kingdom, then there must have been an ancient royal family. I think Teach is likely a descendant of this family. This is why he is capable of eating two DFs. If the ancient kingdom created DFs, then it would only make sense that their would be a method of controlling DFs and their users. This would be the DF rule, that one person can only eat one DF. This would ensure one person couldn't become too powerful.

However as rulers of the kingdom, the royal family would naturally try to ensure that this DF rule didn't apply to them or their progeny. Given how the ancient kingdom could manipulate lineage factors, I surmise that the royal family probably manipulated their own lineage factors to be able to hold multiple DFs. What's more, they probably ordered the creation of the yami yami no mi specifically for the royal family. The yami yami no mi is a DF that negates other DFs. This is the perfect fruit for the ruler of the ancient kingdom, as they would have superiority over any other DF user.

Joyboy on the other hand, likely wasn't royalty. He is the patron god of slaves and the oppressed. Hence I think it makes more sense that he would have humble beginnings.

Luffy vs Blackbeard will be a battle for who deserves to be the true inheritor of the Will of D. Is it the rightful heir to the throne, Teach? Or the descendant of the Monkey family, Luffy?
