I believe @ThatKid should be in the soul custody of the family.
@ThatGuy has already proven his incompetence in kid watching as he preferred messing around with @ThatSlut allowing his son to go missing in the first place. And let's not forget he's going for an insanity defense! That should immediately exclude him from gaining custody!
And as for @ThatWife I think more than enough has been said at this point yeah?
Thatkid has already grown accustomed to the family even going as far as to call the boss his father, has already made several friends, and helps out with the business. To Thatkid, the family is his home. Taking him away from that just to appease one of his terribly disgruntled parents will do him no good in the long run. In fact I would say giving either parent custody of him at this point is outright child abuse
But of course, I am not among the jury nor the judge. I am just a mere Hufflepuff.
